Hello, my name is Matt Lekowski. I am a current MS BANA student at the University of Cincinnati.

Academic Background

I joined the MS BANA program right after graduating undergrad in May of 2019, so here is my full academic history:

• Attended Immaculate Heart of Mary for elementary school in Cincinnati
• Attended St. Xavier High School for high school in Cincinnati
• Attended The University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business for his undergraduate degree
  • earned a B.B.A in Finance with a minor in Accounting

Professional Background

Throughout my undergraduate career at the Lindner College of Business, I completed several internships and co-ops that gave me great professional experience.

• Interned at Paycor in Norwood as a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern
• Co-oped at Delta Air Lines in Atlanta as a Network and Fleet Analyst
• Co-oped at Merrill Lynch in Cincinnati as a Wealth Management Intern
• Co-oped with U.S. Bank in Cincinnati as a Data Analyst Intern
• Interned with Macquarie Capital in Chicago as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Experience in R

I have no experience in R prior to the MS BANA program. We had a session on it at orientation and have used it briefly in Statistical Methods and Probability Models class in addition to this course.

Experience in Other Analytic Software

I am in the process of being introduced to SQL through my Data Management class and SAS through my Statistical Computing class. I took a class called Python for Finance last year as an undergraduate and am scheduled to take Intro to Python this coming spring.
