Hi this is Priyanka Pavithran. I am a student pursuing Masters in Business Analytics at the University of Cincinnati. I hail from India. I have a background in engineering and have worked with SAP India for about three years.

I completed Electronics and Communication engineering at SJCE, Mysore. Building my undergraduate course project, where the system when fed with images, processed it to finally obtain its Braille text equivalent, I came to learn how data could be made use of to teach a machine to predict results and make decisions. This included the use of multiple image pre-processing and segmentation, training the system with huge chunks of image data and character recognition using the neural network theory.

During the two and a half years that I have worked with SAP, I have been a part of multiple development projects which included performing several database operations and logical coding. I am a certified ABAP consultant and have developed multiple ABAP business objects in modules like sales and delivery, finance and material management all of which included large number of database operations using OpenSQL. I have also led a team to perform technical assessments for over 50 customers to predict the timeline and effort estimates for the upgrades.
