Hello, My name is Varun Varma. I go by the pronouns He/Him/His. I’m currently pursuing my Masters in Business Analytics from Carl H. Lindner College of Business, University of Cincinnati, USA. Once I graduate, I want to work as a Data Scientist.

Professional Background

After graduation, I worked as a Gradute Engineering Trainee in Piping Department at Jacobs India Private Limited, Mumbai, India where I was responsible for checking the P&ID. After a year I decided to shift into an E-Commerce startup called Cambium Retail Private Limited, working as a Senior Account Manager there.

Working in a small company, helped me to gain knowledge in interdisplinary departments. I was handling multiple brands on various Indian E-Commerce platforms like Amazon India, Flipkart, Myntra. I used R and excel to analyse the sales of each brands on various platoforms and create prediction on inventory replenishment and marketing plans.

While working with huge data, I realized how important tool it is to make business decisions. This created an interest in me to apply for the business anlaytics program in USA.
