The tips that are also given inform the reader on skills that a manager could have to make a work place more productive.
The first case tells us what colors to make the graph of our data to grab the attention of the consumer best.
This case shows the reader that the data needs to be constructed well enough to go add to the point the presentation is trying to make.
The data needs to be in the right order to make better sense of the data one is trying to show.
Avoid using graphs that have many data lines that will enevitable confuse the reader. Emphasis one data line at a time.
Use anything but pie charts. They do not show the data in enough detail to construct a arguement that is explained well enough to the viewer. The case also shows us what graphs one could us instead of a pie chart.
