The following map shows the level of CO2 Emissions per cápita by country grouped in the different colors, where the lighter are the countries that present the highest levels of pollution. The radius of each circle stands for the quantile of the country’s GDP per capita in the world distribution. There seems to be a direct relationship between the economic performance (measured by GDP per capita) and CO2 emissions.
