Barbie in the Nutcracker Plot:

The frame story is of Barbie’s younger sister, Kelly, having trouble performing ballet and her fears of going onstage. Barbie tells her the story of The Nutcracker to give her courage.

A girl named Clara lives with Drosselmeyer, her stern grandfather, and Tommy, her younger brother. On Christmas Eve, they receive a surprise visit from their Aunt Elizabeth. Clara receives a Nutcracker from her that Aunt Elizabeth says contains the heart of a prince. Clara falls asleep by the Christmas tree and awakens to see her Nutcracker suddenly alive and fighting the Mouse King. The Mouse King shrinks her down to his size, though he is unable to defeat them and temporarily retreats.

The Nutcracker explains that he needs to find the Sugarplum Princess who is the only person who can stop the Mouse King from taking over his world. The wise owl of the grandfather clock reveals that the Sugarplum Princess is also the only one who can make Clara her original size again. The owl gives Clara a locket that has the power to send her home after they find the Princess.

The two journey to Gingerbread Village, where the children tell them that the rightful heir to the throne, Prince Eric, has gone missing. Clara realizes that the Nutcracker is the missing prince and he reveals that his careless attitude led the king to pronounce the Mouse as temporary king until Eric accepted his responsibilities. The Mouse decided he wanted to be king for good and turned Eric into a Nutcracker. Eric hopes to redeem himself and make things right again.

Clara, the Nutcracker, and their friends arrive at the princess’s island, where the Nutcracker battles with the Mouse King. The Mouse King is hit with his own spell, shrinking him to the size of a real mouse and causing him to flee. The Nutcracker is injured and Clara kisses him whereupon he is restored to his true form as Eric. Clara, because she was able to break the spell, is revealed as the Sugarplum Princess. Eric is crowned king and the couple, who have fallen in love, dance as the citizens celebrate. The shrunken Mouse King steals Clara’s locket and opens it. He is knocked to the ground and apparently dies, but Clara disappears, having magically returned home.

Clara wakes up at home where she fell asleep. The Nutcracker is missing, and she runs to her grandfather, who dismisses the story as her imagination. Just then, Aunt Elizabeth returns with a young man – it is Eric, and she reveals him to be the son of a friend. Eric asks her to dance. A snow-globe shows the Prince – now King – and the Sugarplum Princess dancing happily in the palace.

The story goes back to Kelly and Barbie. Kelly realizes the importance of not giving up, and she and Barbie dance, with Kelly finally getting her steps right.

Barbie as Rapunzel Plot:

Barbie tells a story to her little sister Kelly, who doesn’t have confidence in her painting abilities.

Rapunzel lives in 17th century Europe as a servant to the evil witch Gothel, who resides in an isolated manor. She grows up believing that Gothel saved her from abandonment and finds companionship in Penelope, an outgoing dragon, and Hobie, an anxious rabbit. She spends her time painting pictures of places she dreams of going when she is free one day. Gothel disapproves of her hobbies and accuses her of not appreciating everything Gothel has done for her.

One day, Penelope finds a secret old room and a gift from Rapunzel’s parents: a silver hairbrush engraved with a message. Rapunzel also discovers a tunnel leading to the village. She takes this to the small kingdom, where she meets Prince Stefan. He tells her about King Wilhelm, the ruler of an opposing kingdom, who has a feud with King Frederick, Stefan’s father. Rapunzel has to leave before she can learn Stefan’s name so as to avoid being discovered by Gothel. However, Gothel’s pet ferret, Otto, informs Gothel. When Rapunzel says Gothel cannot keep her locked away forever, Gothel destroys her paintings and transforms the bedroom into a tower, refusing to let her go.

Rapunzel meets her good red fairy Alice who decides to turn her hairbrush into a paintbrush, she reads the engraving on the hairbrush, realizing there is still hope. Alice waves her magic wand at the hairbrush and a shower of light turns it into a paintbrush, and Hobie and Penelope cheer her up with new paint, allowing Rapunzel to paint again. It becomes clear that whatever she paints becomes real. Rapunzel paints the village to use as a portal and meets Stefan again, though she insists he never tells her his name for fear of Gothel. He asks her to a ball, and she agrees. Back at the tower, she paints herself a beautiful costume. Unfortunately, Gothel finds out, cuts off Rapunzel’s hair, and shatters the paintbrush. She also puts a spell on the tower to eternally hold people who lie. Rapunzel escapes with the help of her friends, as the spell doesn’t work because Rapunzel is not lying.

Gothel attacks Stefan’s kingdom as King Wilhelm arrives, hoping to end the feud by force. The source of the feud is that Wilhelm believes King Fredrick kidnapped his daughter when she was an infant. Gothel reveals that she was the one who took Rapunzel because Wilhelm “loved” her but married another woman, seeing Gothel as only a friend; she wanted the kingdoms to destroy each other as a result. Rapunzel arrives and Wilhelm recognizes her as his daughter. Rapunzel tricks Gothel into running into her painting of the tower; Gothel then finds herself forever trapped in the tower, as she has a lying heart.

Rapunzel is reunited with her biological parents and marries Stefan. The feud ends and the two kingdoms are united, as Rapunzel’s dreams of freedom come true.

Kelly now feels better and begins painting after Barbie reminds her that creativity is the true magic in art.

Barbie of Swan Lake Plot:

The story is told by Barbie to her little sister, Kelly, who is feeling uneasy about being at overnight camp for the first time.

In a small village, Odette, a girl passionate about ballet, lives with her father and sister and works in the family bakery. Odette is very talented in ballet, even though she has no formal training. The men of the village go after a unicorn named Lila. With the help of Odette, Lila escapes and runs into an Enchanted Forest with the curious Odette in pursuit. Lila becomes trapped so Odette looks for something to free her. She spots a stone, which is, in fact, a magical crystal, and takes it out. Little does she know that the crystal was meant for its remover to defeat the evil sorcerer Rothbart, who had been terrorizing the inhabitants of the forest for years.

The Fairy Queen tells Odette that she is the chosen one, and Rothbart is her cousin. She explains that Rothbart cast a spell on the elves of the Forest and turned them into animals. The spell was partially reversed by the Queen so that they can become human by night but turn back into animals by morning. Odette, not wanting to get involved in the mess, refuses. The Queen, saddened, complies, but Rothbart, knowing Odette is a threat, gives her the same curse as the others, turning her into a swan. The Queen partially reverse it as well so that Odette retains her human form by night but turns back into a swan by day. She also gives Odette a crown holding the crystal, as it will protect her from Rothbart’s magic.

A new character, Prince Daniel, the handsome prince of Odette’s village, is introduced. A spirited, talented man, he prefers exploring and hunting rather than marriage, much to the dismay of his mother, the Queen.

Odette is determined to find a cure and goes to a magical library to find a book that can tell her how to break the spell. However, she is unable to locate the book. Rothbart lures Daniel into the forest, determined to get him to hunt and kill Odette. However, just as he’s about to shoot her down, Daniel is captivated by the swan’s beauty and decides to let it live. The two soon fall in love when he sees her true form, and they spend time together.

Daniel asks Odette to come to a ball his mother had organized for him to find a wife. Erasmus, the library troll, finds the book and reveals that the solution is true love, which makes everyone realize that Daniel can save them all. However, if Daniel falls for another girl, the magic crystal will lose its power and Odette will die. Rothbart learns of this and casts a spell to make his spoiled daughter Odile look like Odette so that the Prince will confess his love to her instead.

Odette learns this and races to the castle in her swan form to warn Daniel. But it is too late: Daniel pledges his love to Odile, thinking her to be Odette, and the crystal loses its power, causing Odette to collapse.

Rothbart takes the crystal and aims a spell at Daniel. The spell accidentally hits Odile, turning her into a pig. The Fairy Queen challenges Rothbart to a duel to protect Odette. Rothbart turns the Queen into a mouse. Odette wakes up in time to see Daniel confronting Rothbart. The two reunite but Rothbart’s spell hits them both, leaving them unconscious, their hands intertwined.

Rothbart believes he has won, but at that moment, the crystal’s power explodes, as Daniel and Odette tried to protect each other out of true love. The two awaken as all of Rothbart’s evil is undone. Everyone from the village and the Enchanted Forest celebrate as Odette and Daniel are to be married and are finally happy. Rothbart becomes a Cuckoo Clock while Odile ends up as a maid.

The story of courage gives Kelly new resolve and she promises she will participate in the race the following day, with Barbie smiling in approval.

Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper Plot:

In an unnamed kingdom long ago, a blonde princess and a brunette pauper are born simultaneously. The princess, Anneliese, craves freedom from her royal duties, especially because she wants to marry her tutor and true love, Julian. Despite this, she is informed by her widowed mother, Queen Genevieve, that she must marry King Dominick, the wealthy king of a nearby kingdom because their royal treasury is nearly bankrupt. The pauper, Erika, craves a different sort of freedom as she is an indentured servant at Madame Carp’s Dress Emporium to work off her parents’ debt, but dreams of becoming a singer and seeing the world.

Queen Genevieve doesn’t know that the reason behind the kingdom’s bankruptcy is her adviser, Preminger. He has been stealing the gold from the royal mines with his sidekicks, Nick and Nack, for a long time. His plan was originally to present the stolen gold to the royal family as something he “discovered” while on a journey and making the queen so grateful that she will ask him to marry Anneliese. Then Preminger can accede to the throne and achieve all that he wants as the king. But upon learning from Nick and Nack that the queen had already arranged a marriage to Anneliese with King Dominick, Preminger realizes that he has to now do a change in his plans. So he decides to make Anneliese mysteriously disappear, which will cancel the engagement and then Preminger can pretend that he had found her and earn her hand in marriage after presenting her to the queen.

While Anneliese is studying with Julian, he tells her that King Dominick (who is disguised as a page) and Ambassador Bismark have come to see her with an engagement gift, a necklace. The Queen wants the wedding to be a week from then, which gives Preminger less time to carry out his evil plan.

Julian takes Anneliese for a day out into the kingdom so that she can be free for once. Anneliese hears Erika singing and goes to listen. Erika is singing in the street to earn money for herself, but Madame Carp takes the money. Anneliese and Erika talk to each other and learn they are identical, apart from their hair color and the crown-shaped birthmark Anneliese has on her shoulder. They become fast friends, and Anneliese returns to the palace. That night, she is being kidnapped along with her cat, Serafina, by Nick and Nack, who leaves a letter saying she ran away.

Julian suspects that Preminger kidnapped Anneliese so he asks Erika to pretend to be the princess until she is rescued. Preminger is surprised when Erika, as Anneliese, comes to the palace because he thought she had already been kidnapped. King Dominick decides to reveal himself to Anneliese (who is really Erika in disguise) and walks in on her singing with her beautiful voice. Over time, Erika and Dominick fall in love, but Erika is worried about what will happen when people find out she is not Anneliese.

The real Anneliese has escaped from Nick and Nack. Julian is able to follow Preminger to the house where they had Anneliese and overhears Preminger’s plans to become the king. He is discovered by the trio and gets kidnapped. Anneliese is turned away from the palace because the guards think Anneliese is already in there. She gets taken away by Madame Carp because she thinks Anneliese is Erika.

Preminger figures out that the Anneliese in the castle is an impostor. Anneliese had used her cat Serafina to take a clue to the castle about where she was. Unfortunately, it is Preminger and his dog Midas who gets the clue and is able to take the real Anneliese to the royal mines with Julian and tells his henchmen to collapse the mine with Anneliese and Julian trapped inside. He goes back to the palace, exposes Erika as a fake and accuses her and Julian of treason.

Erika is sent to the dungeon. She sings a lullaby to make the guard asleep and takes his keys so she can escape. As she does, she bumps into King Dominick. He tells her that he doesn’t believe what Preminger said about her. In the mines, Anneliese and Julian find out how to restore the kingdom’s resources from some rocks that have geodes in them. They confess their love and escape from the mines with an idea they get from Erika’s barking cat, Wolfie.

Preminger convinces the Queen that Anneliese is dead and says that they must marry to save the kingdom, and since she has no other options, she agrees. Before they can be married, Anneliese arrives and tells everyone the truth about Preminger, who, along with Nick and Nack, are later arrested. She tells her mother that she wants to marry Julian and that they can save the kingdom. Dominick and Erika say they wish to marry as well, and Madame Carp goes out of business.

Erika wants to sing so she doesn’t marry Dominick right away, but she returns after realizing that sometimes being free means choosing not to go, but also having the choice to stay. Anneliese and Julian, including Dominick and Erika, all have a double wedding together the following spring, and their cats, Serafina and Wolfie, have many, many, many kittens. They ride off happily together in their wedding carriage driven by King Dominick, with Queen Erika by his side.

Barbie: Fairytopia Plot:

Elina, a wingless flower fairy, and her puffball friend Bibble watch their fairy friend Dandelion fly with three pixies. The pixies make fun of Elina for having no wings, but Elina ignores their teasing. Dandelion, however, defends Elina by fluttering her wings so hard that the small pixies are blown away. They later come back to warn Dandelion and Elina to go home “where it’s safe”. This is so they don’t get kidnapped by someone named Laverna (who is already rumored to have kidnapped a fairy named Topaz). Elina thinks that Laverna is a myth, but Dandelion is unsure so she goes home to ask her mother. Elina and Bibble go back to Peony, her flower home.

Elina talks to Bibble about what the pixies said, but she thinks Topaz is too powerful to get kidnapped, as she is a guardian. Bibble is asleep, and Elina is still feeling uneasy, but Peony plays a lullaby for her, and she falls asleep. However, Topaz really has been kidnapped by Laverna. Laverna plans to kidnap all of the guardians, and then take over Fairytopia. Laverna calls her minions, Fungus, who reveal Laverna’s formula. It had the power to weaken every flying creature in Fairytopia if they breathed it in; they would become so weak they would lose the power to fly. As she speaks, Laverna’s minions are in all seven regions of Fairytopia and unleashing the formula. She thinks no one can stop her, as she is the only one with an antidote. Her main plan is to give everyone the antidote, and then everyone will love her for it and let her be their queen.

In the morning, Bibble has to wake up Elina because Peony didn’t sing to wake them up. Elina goes outside and sees that Peony, as well as all the other fairy homes, are sick. Dandelion comes to see Elina and tells her that some of the fairies are having trouble flying, and Topaz is gone; the closest guardian is Azura, and she is far away, in Fairytown. Elina thinks that she has to go to Fairytown to see Azura, but Dandelion doesn’t think it is a good idea; Elina has never left the meadow before, and it takes hours to get to Fairytown, even if you have wings. Elina really thinks she can’t actually get there, but Bibble and Dandelion volunteer to join her, and they leave the Magic Meadow.

The trio enters a spooky forest and Dandelion flies up high to see if she can see a way out. When she is higher up, she breathes in some of Laverna’s formula and can’t fly. Elina realizes that Dandelion is getting sick, and it would be too hard for Dandelion to walk like Elina, as Elina was used to walking. She urges Dandelion to go home before dark to avoid panicking her mother, so Dandelion leaves Elina and Bibble. Meanwhile, Laverna has kidnapped another guardian: Ruby. He remains loyal to the Enchantress, Laverna’s sister, and the ruler of Fairytopia. Laverna shows Topaz and Ruby the state the Enchantress is in, and it turns out she is very weak because of the formula.

Elina and Bibble get out of the forest and encounter a new place where all of the flowers are wilting. Elina jumps up to one of the highest flowers to get a view of the horizon. Bibble flies in front of a flower that is like a tunnel, so they go inside it. At the end of the tunnel is the City Hall of Fairytown, but it is closed. They tell the man there that they need to see Azura but she is not there. A fairy named Larkspur comes and the man working in the city hall tells him that Ruby, and another guardian named Amethyst, have been kidnapped. He has to find Azura immediately, so Elina and Bibble take advantage of this and follow him.

Elina and Bibble grab onto a flower and it floats after Larkspur, but they crash. They see Azura’s house, but it is surrounded by guards. Elina and Bibble hide in a flower, but Azura spots them and tells them to leave. Elina tells Azura that they came all the way from the Magic Meadow, so Azura tells Elina to come closer. She sees a rainbow in Elina’s eye for a second and is shocked. She invites Elina into her house and gives her food and shelter. Azura tells Elina that the rainbow in her eyes means she is destined for great things. When Elina goes to bed, Azura tells her that all of Fairytopia is in trouble and it is down to Laverna. In the morning she will leave to speak to a dryad named Dahlia, who lives in the Wildering Wood. Azura asks Elina to take care of her necklace.

In the morning, Azura wakes up Bibble and asks him to find Hue, who lives in the south; he needs to be given an important scroll. After that, Azura is about to leave but is kidnapped by Fungus. Elina looks outside when she wakes up and sees that the guards have been tied up. A stout fairy thinks Elina has caused the trouble, so Elina runs away and gets helped by Hue, who has large wings and carries Elina to the Wildering Wood.

In Laverna’s lair, the Fungus arrive with Azura, and Laverna notices that Azura isn’t wearing her necklace. The Fungus tell Laverna that wingless fairy had it. Laverna realizes that Elina wouldn’t be affected by the formula, as she couldn’t fly. All of the Fungus are ordered to find Elina. Meanwhile, Hue tells Elina that after a day they will be in the Wildering Wood. However, they encounter some of Laverna’s firebirds. To escape them, Hue flies off a rainbow-colored waterfall into a cove. Hue disturbs some relaxing mermaids when he flies too low, including Prince Nalu.

Prince Nalu yells at Hue but stops when he sees Elina. Hue insists that the firebirds won’t come down as they hate water, but they do. Prince Nalu throws them some special seaweed that will let them breathe underwater, so they all eat some. They swim with Prince Nalu to safety and he points them to the Wildering Wood. The prince hopes he can see Elina again, leading to Bibble making fun of them. They get on Hue but he breathes in some of Laverna’s formula and Elina orders him to land so he can rest. She asks Bibble to stay with Hue and she goes to find Dahlia by herself.

When Elina is by herself, she begins doubting herself and comparing herself to Azura, a great guardian. Some happy trolls appear who will lead Elina to Dahlia. They go a long way, but still only see sick trees. Azura’s necklace starts glowing and it “calls” Dahlia. The happy trolls leave and Dahlia says she can’t help Elina; she doesn’t want to help the guardians as the last time she tried to help them, none of them believed she was good except for Azura, as she had been working with Laverna. Azura believed that Dahlia would know how to defeat Laverna because of this, but Dahlia doesn’t want to risk herself for Fairytopia. Elina convinces her otherwise and they go back to Hue and Bibble. Hue and Bibble insist on coming with Elina and Dahlia and they start to go after Laverna.

In Laverna’s lair, she has all the guardians kidnapped. Laverna places a crystal in her throne and the guardian’s necklaces feel the presence of Azura’s necklace, which is with Elina. Laverna knows she is near, so she orders the Fungus to get her. Dahlia tells Elina that, when she had left Laverna, Laverna had created a device that used the strength of her royal bloodline to suck the powers from the fairy guardian’s necklaces and transfer them to herself. She doesn’t know how it works, but she knew that the “union point” would be the weakness.

The group arrives at Laverna’s lair, and they can’t go in the air because of the firebirds. Their plan is to go in and find the union point, but Elina wants to go by herself as she has Azura’s necklace. While Elina is running over to the lair, she almost gets caught by the Fungus, but Hue flies in with Dahlia to distract them. When Bibble tries to distract them he is captured. Elina makes it to the lair, and Dahlia, Bibble, and Hue have been brought to Laverna by the Fungus. When the Fungus leave, Elina finds them and tells Laverna to let them go. Laverna will only let them go if Elina gives her the necklace, but she refuses. Laverna sees the rainbow in Elina’s eye and tells her she could have wings if she went to Laverna’s side.

With the wings Laverna gave her, Elina becomes brainwashed. Laverna tells Elina that, together, they can have what they want; Laverna will rule Fairytopia, and Elina will have wings, with everything in her world as she remembered it. Laverna tells Elina to put Azura’s necklace around Azura’s neck, and Elina will get everything she’s ever wanted. The guardians’ necklaces make them lose their powers and they start transferring to Laverna. Elina puts the necklace on Azura and snaps out of her brainwashed mindset, and sees that the union point is where the crystal is. She takes the necklace off Azura and throws it at the crystal, breaking it. The guardians get their powers back. Laverna, her throne, and her scepter disappear. The guardians are safe.

Back in the Magic Meadow, the pixies are flying again, and everyone is glad to see Elina. Hue comes to see Elina, and so does the Enchantress. She thanks Elina and her friends for saving everyone, and says that Elina has earned a great gift. The Enchantress gives Elina a rainbow-colored necklace and flies away. The necklace begins to glow and Elina gets beautiful, pink wings. She flies with her own wings for the first time, and Elina, Dandelion, Hue, and Bibble fly together.

Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus Plot:

In a magical kingdom, Princess Annika worries her parents after going to an ice rink without permission. Her parents are so overprotective they forbid her from skating ever again.

That night, Annika sneaks out again to join a festival. A powerful wizard named Wenlock asks the princess to marry him. When she refuses, he furiously tells the king and queen the fate of their “other daughter” and turns everyone into stone. Annika is saved by Brietta, a flying horse. Wenlock tells her she has three days to marry him, otherwise, the spell will be permanent.

Brietta takes Annika to a castle in the clouds called the Cloud Kingdom. Annika discovers that “the other daughter” is, in fact, Brietta, who was transformed into a Pegasus by Wenlock when she refused to marry him (explaining why her parents are so overprotective). Annika decides to build the “Wand of Light” to break his spell. In order to accomplish this, they must have a measure of courage, a ring of love, and a gem of ice lit by hope’s eternal flame.

Annika and her polar bear friend Shiver to the Forbidden Forest, where they meet Aidan, a young man who helps them. When Annika falls into a giant’s stew pot, she uses her hair ribbon to climb out. The ribbon is a measure of courage and turns into a staff for the Wand of Light. The group finds a large cavern filled with gems. Annika and Aidan take one each. Aiden reveals that he ran away from his parents and lost all of his money gambling. He took an extra gem to bring to his parents so that he could get their forgiveness. Brietta offers her tiara for the ring of love. With all three objects, the “Wand of Light” is assembled and Brietta is transformed back into a human.

Annika and Brietta return to the Cloud Kingdom, but Wenlock pursues them, hurting Brietta. Annika angrily asks the wand to destroy Wenlock, but it does not work. She gives in and finally agrees to marry him so he will break the spell. Wenlock refuses because she is hateful, just like his other wives. He takes the wand and causes a snowslide, trapping her.

Aidan helps dig Annika out and the group goes to Wenlock’s lair. Annika finds the wand but the gem falls. Fortunately, Aidan gives his own. Realizing how to work the wand, she asks it to defeat Wenlock for the love of her family and friends. Wenlock becomes an ordinary person and the spell is broken. Brietta is reunited with the family, while Aidan’s father forgives him. In the end, it is implied that Aiden and Annika got married.

Barbie: Mermaidia Plot:

In the first film, the wingless flower fairy Elina defeated Laverna, the evil sister of the Enchantress, and the Enchantress gave Elina wings as a reward. This film’s plot begins shortly afterward with Elina flying through the air, still having trouble believing that she has wings. As the three are flying, Dandelion, Elina and Bibble, in the air, Bibble notices that someone was following them. Bibble tells it to Elina and soon, Elina learns from a young sea-butterfly fairy that her friend Nalu, the merman prince, has been kidnapped by several of Laverna’s Fungi at the Crystal Cove. The banished Laverna is seeking out the Immunity Berry, a berry that causes whoever eats it to be immune to all magic. Since Nalu knows how to find the berry, Laverna had sent her Fungi to force Nalu to lead them to the Immunity Berry.

Fungus Maximus, the leader of the Fungi, asks Nalu to take them to the Immunity Berry, but as Nalu refused, Fungus Maximus threatens to pour a bottle of magical poison into the ocean to destroy Mermaidia as Nalu refuses to lead them to the berry. Nalu reluctantly agrees, giving them a magical seaweed to breathe underwater, then taking the Fungi underwater. Elina arrives at the Crystal Cove a short time after this, accompanied by her companion Bibble. She finds no trace of Nalu but encounters a mermaid named Nori. Nori had planned to meet Nalu at the cove and is unaware of the reason for his absence. When Elina tells her of the kidnapping, Nori insists on going to rescue the prince herself. Elina uses magical seaweed to breathe underwater and follows. Meanwhile, Nalu has delayed the Fungi in their quest by leading them to a place in the ocean called the Carousel of Confusion, where people forget what they’re doing. This allows him to direct them in circles for a long time before Fungus Maximus finally catches on.

Elina soon reaches Mermaidia and finds Nori attempting to learn the location of the oracle Delphine so that she can ask her where to find Nalu. The only people who know Delphine’s location are the merfairies, who are nearly impossible to speak with. After Elina helps Nori converse with the merfairies, they learn where Delphine is and both of them go to seek the oracle out. Delphine tells them that they will have to travel to the bottom of the Depths of Despair to find the Mirror of the Mist, which will lead them to Nalu. She also tells them that Elina will have to trade her wings for a tail to be able to swim strong enough to reach the mirror. Delphine gives Elina a magical pearl necklace that will allow her to make this trade. However, if Elina doesn’t get out of the water in a certain amount of time, she will remain a mermaid forever.

Elina and Nori head to the Depths of Despair together, where Nori is soon entrapped by one of the hostile sea plants growing on the shaft’s walls. Elina cannot swim fast enough to rescue Nori, so she is forced to use the necklace to become a mermaid. She then frees Nori and they reach the Mirror of the Mist at the cavern in the bottom of the Depths of Despair. The mirror shows them an image of Nalu and creates a magical bubble beacon for them to follow. They also find, what is called the Crest of Courage, has appeared on their arms from enduring the Depths of Despair. The bubble takes them to the entrance of a cave filled with boiling hot thermal vents. Nori carefully leads them through, and they find that beyond the vents lies a cavern filled with magical fruits, including one that reveals the eater’s true self. When Nori and Elina reach the surface, they see Nalu being guarded by two Fungi. While Bibble distracts them, the two mermaids free the prince.

Nalu is grateful to be rescued but tells them that the Fungi leader has reached the cave where the Immunity Berry grows. The three battle with the Fungi to retrieve the berry that Fungus Maximus has picked. They succeed by secretly swapping the berry with a similar-looking substitute, but Elina does not make it out of the water in time and is forever trapped in mermaid form, thanks to Fungus Maximus threatening to drop his vial of poison in the water if Elina did not surrender the Immunity Berry to him. But upon Nori’s suggestion, Elina then decides to risk eating one of the true-self berries herself in the hopes of restoring herself to fairy form. She succeeds, gaining wings even more spectacular than she’d had before. Nori and Nalu reveal their love for each other and Elina returns to Fairytopia.

Meanwhile, Laverna takes a bite from what she believes to be the Immunity Berry but it turns out to be the true-self berry and she transforms into a toad.

The Barbie Diaries Plot:

In “The Barbie Diaries,” Barbie is portrayed as a typical American teenager who is a sophomore in high school who encounters the problems that real-life teens often encounter: making new friends, dating, gossip, and getting involved in school. She always gets beaten in everything by Raquelle, a snobby girl who used to be her best friend in fifth grade. On the first day of school, she attempts to become anchorwoman for the school TV station but Raquelle beats her to it. Instead, she becomes Raquelle’s personal assistant, buying her drinks and doing her work.

When Raquelle dumps Todd he and Barbie begin hanging out together and soon become a couple. Todd asks Barbie to the Fall Formal. Thrilled, Barbie, as well as her best friends Tia and Courtney, rush to buy a dress when they discover that Raquelle and Todd are together again. The mysterious woman at the counter, whose name is Stephanie, gives them advice and offers them some charm bracelets for free. Barbie’s happens to come with a diary which she writes her hopes in.

Soon after, what she wrote starts to mysteriously come true. Someone leaves her love notes and her band, Charmz, gets a gig at the school dance that Barbie was previously invited to. Next, Barbie decides to do a piece on popular kids and “What Makes Them Popular.” She soon starts to neglect her friends and the story is quite mean. She even skips Tia’s class-president election to hang out with Reagan and Dawn, Raquelle’s friends. She starts skipping band practice and spends hours talking to them on the phone and hanging out with them. Barbie realizes that her hopes written in the diary came true and rushes to the mall to ask Stephanie about it. To her shock, it is revealed that the woman never worked there and apparently does not exist.

Tia and Courtney discover that it is Kevin that has been leaving Barbie the love notes, not Todd. They pressure him to tell her but he refuses. Dawn and Reagan find out that Barbie only befriended them because of her story and stop hanging out with her. They tell Raquelle. Soon, Raquelle steals Barbie’s magic bracelet. Tia and Courtney watch footage of the story, and they discover that Barbie has told them a secret about Tia. They confront her and let her know that they no longer want to be friends with her. The night of the story, Barbie apologizes to her friends and chooses to instead showcase Kevin’s film clips depicting a paperclip chain attacking his eBook. Out of shame, Barbie refuses to go to the dance. On the night of the dance, her friends arrive and tell her that she has to perform with them, giving her the dress that they put on hold for her at the mall.

Still worried as she has no bracelet, Kevin takes one of his guitar strings and loops it around her wrist. Barbie points out that it is a “stupid piece of bent metal” until she realizes that is what her bracelet was. The girls rock the concert with Courtney finally able to do a drum stick maneuver that she couldn’t do before. While dancing with Todd she asks him about the notes in her locker but he denies knowing about any notes. Confused, Barbie thinks back to other people who were in the places the notes had said. Realizing that it was Kevin all along, Barbie leaves in the middle of the dance and goes over to Kevin. Kevin gives her back the charm bracelet that he found on the ground. She apologizes for never realizing, but points out that the bizarre rhyming in the notes was a giveaway. The two dance together and become a couple. At the end, Barbie and Kevin watch a movie while eating ziti as Kevin asked

Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses Plot:

Barbie stars as Genevieve, one of twelve princesses who live in a castle with their widowed father, King Randolph. The princesses have adventurous spirits that are viewed as “non-proper” by other members of the royal society. King Randolph summons his cousin, Duchess Rowena, to help raise the princesses. Unbeknownst to him, Rowena plans to poison him and get rid of his daughters so she can become queen. Attempting to break their spirits, she makes the princess’ lives miserable.

The princesses find comfort in their late mother’s favorite story, which tells of a magical kingdom where golden flowers grant wishes and princesses can dance at an enchanted pavilion for three nights. They realize that the story shows how to enter the kingdom from their own bedroom. Inside the magical kingdom, they discover that the water there possesses healing properties.

The next day, the princesses appear tired and the duchess finds their new dancing shoes worn, arousing her suspicion. When King Randolph falls ill, Genevieve asks the royal cobbler Derek, also her love interest, to investigate Rowena’s true intentions. That night, the sisters return to the magical kingdom to dance. Derek discovers the truth about Rowena.

The next morning, the sisters are again exhausted, and Rowena forces them into servitude. Heartbroken, they return to the magical kingdom, and Rowena finds them missing the next morning. Derek enters the kingdom to report his findings to the sisters. Rowena discovers this and also enters the kingdom. She steals some of the gold flowers and destroys the gateway to the kingdom, leaving the sisters and Derek trapped.

The group discovers that, when Genevieve and Derek dance together, everyone floats up into the sky and they are able to return home through a different gateway. Once home, they see that Rowena has taken over as queen. They use their personal skills and hobbies to outsmart Rowena’s guards and confront her. Rowena uses the gold flowers to wish that Genevieve dances forever. When the flower dust comes toward Genevieve, she uses her fan to blow the dust back toward Rowena, who begins to dance uncontrollably. When her footman Desmond tries to help her, he too is pulled into the spell, and the two villains dance their way out of the castle.

The sisters use water from the kingdom to heal their dying father. King Randolph explains that Rowena had poisoned him and apologizes to his daughters for not believing them. In the end, Genevieve and Derek celebrate their wedding.

Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow Plot:

Following the previous “Fairytopia films”, Elina and her puffball friend, Bibble, live in the Magic Meadow, a region in Fairytopia. They receive a visit from Azura, one of the seven guardian fairies of Fairytopia. The Enchantress, ruler of Fairytopia, has instructed the seven guardians to appoint an apprentice each, and Azura wants Elina to be her apprentice. Elina thrilled by the honour, and sets off for the Enchantress’ home, Crystal Palace, where she has to go to accept the apprenticeship. Along the way to the Crystal Palace, Elina and Bibble meet a apprentice named Linden and a winged animal (called a Tumby) and make friends.

Elina arrives at the dormitories near the Crystal Palace, where the apprentices are to stay, and meets her fellow apprentices. In particular she gets along with Glee, a fairy who has a female puffball, Dizzle, as a companion who Bibble falls in love with.

The seven apprentices are addressed by the seven guardians, who inform them that one of the main duties of the guardians is to perform the Flight of Spring. During the Flight of Spring, the First Blush of Spring (resembling a pink flower bud), is coaxed open. The First Blush of Spring then releases the First Rainbow of Spring, thereby preventing a bitter cold winter of ten years to befall Fairytopia. The apprentices are to attend classes, given by the various guardians, and learn three techniques for performing the Flight. It becomes evident as the fairies attend classes that Elina is a particularly gifted fairy.

Unknown to Elina, the evil Laverna wishes revenge on the Enchantress and Elina, following her defeat in the previous “Fairytopia” films. She transforms her henchman Max into a decoy to stay at the bog, while Laverna herself approaches Elina and tricks her into performing a Fairy Undoing Spell. Laverna regains her fairy form and flies away. Elina is mortified by her mistake, but when she tries to warn the guardian fairies, they consult the looking glass and see Max in Laverna’s place, mistakenly concluding that Laverna is still safely transformed. Even so, as the time to perform the Flight of Spring draws near, security is tightened and the apprentices take turns patrolling at night. The Other Apperntices, excluding Linden and Glee, confront Elina by the accident she made by being tricked by Laverna.

During patrols, another apprentice named Sunburst is injured, and all the guardian fairies fall into comas. The Enchantress herself appears and says that she will personally train the apprentices, since they will have to perform the Flight of Spring while the guardian fairies are comatose.

On the big day, the seven apprentices arrive at the Crystal Palace. They start to perform Flight, during which Elina discovers that Sunburst is actually Laverna in disguise. Knowing that no one will believe her, Elina leaves the ceremony to search for the real Sunburst. She eventually finds the real Sunburst trapped in an underwater bubble, frees her, and together they set off to the Crystal Palace. Confronted by the real Sunburst, Laverna reveals herself and tells the Enchantress that she must abdicate the throne of Fairytopia and step into a spell-proof chamber, or else Laverna will destroy the First Blush of Spring. The Enchantress agrees, but Laverna breaks her promise to save the Blush and tries to destroy the First Blush of Spring. Elina intercedes but is weakened. The other apprentices perform Luminescence, aiming their beams of light at Elina, who absorbs their power, transforms into a beautiful rainbow fairy and fights back to Laverna turning her into fairy dust destroying her for good.

With Laverna gone, the spell-proof chamber shatters and the Enchantress is restored. Despite the damage on the First Blush, the apprentices manage to coax it to open successfully. At the graduation ceremony, the seven apprentices are applauded for their good work and bravery, and each handed a necklace as proof that they’ve completed the course. Elina has a heartfelt talk with Linden and Glee, before she leaves, and Bibble gets a goodbye kiss from Dizzle. Elina and Bibble both set off back to The Magic Meadow to see their friends again.

Barbie as the Island Princess Plot:

After a violent storm, Sagi, a wise red panda and Azul, a flamboyant peacock discover that a six-year-old girl has been shipwrecked on their island. They and a baby elephant named Tika, decide to help her. Over time, she learns to talk to animals but fails to remember anything about her past before the shipwreck, including her name after Ro. Her only clues are a battered trunk with a broken nameplate “Ro” and a shredded flag with a white rose.

Ten years later, a handsome prince named Antonio discovers Ro’s island. She saves his life when crocodiles attack him and his friend, Frazer. Grateful for her help, Antonio asks Ro if she would like to return with him to his kingdom, Apollonia. Hoping to discover her past, Ro agrees as long as her animal family can come. During the voyage back, Ro and Antonio begin to fall in love.

When they return, Antonio introduces Ro to his parents, King Peter and Queen Danielle as well as Antonio’s younger sisters; the triplets Rita, Gina, and Sofia. While the little girls immediately love Ro and her animals, Danielle is unsure what to think about Ro while Peter doesn’t like her at all. The king becomes even more disturbed by his son’s obvious affection towards the “uncivilized island girl”. Ro does, however, succeed in earning the friendship of the queen’s pet monkey, Tallulah.

Peter is determined to have his adventurous son settle down and marry. While away, he arranged for Antonio to wed Luciana, a princess from a neighboring kingdom. Like the prince, Luciana doesn’t want to marry someone she doesn’t love but is forced to be a puppet in her mother’s schemes. Unknown to all, Luciana’s mother, Queen Ariana is plotting to kill Antonio’s family at the wedding and overthrow their kingdom, although Luciana is not wanting to help her mother, as she is much too kind and also befriends Ro. Queen Ariana’s motive is revenge for her parents, who were banished and reduced to pig farmers for the attempted murder of Antonio’s parents years ago. The queen sees Ro as a threat to her plans and quickly plots to dispose of her.

Over the next few days, Ro repeatedly tries to please Antonio’s parents, but due to Ariana’s interference, they all end in disaster, which further increases the king’s dislike of her. By now, Ro feels like she doesn’t belong in Apollonia and thinks about returning to her island, but her love for Antonio and determination to find out about herself convinces her to stay.

Trying to cheer her up, Ro’s animals and Tallulah help her dress for Antonio and Luciana’s engagement party. Thanks to their efforts, Ro arrives in a stunning dress while her grace leaves all the guests impressed, including Peter.

When Antonio confesses to Ro that he loves her, Ro reminds him of his pledge to Luciana. After a dance together, she leaves and spots a carriage outside the castle bearing the same design as the flag found back on the island. The carriage’s horse tells Ro that the flag belongs to another neighboring kingdom called Paladia, but the duke and duchess (the carriage’s owners) only had sons; no daughters.

Fed up with his father’s attempts to push him into marriage, Antonio writes a note for Ro, saying that he wants to run away with her instead of marrying Luciana. Tika witnesses this and decides to hide the note from Ro, fearing that Ro will leave her.

As part of her plan to get rid of Ro, Ariana has her three pet rats put a deadly sleeping herb called “sunset herb” into the food of all the animals in the kingdom. The next day, animals all over the kingdom are unable to wake up, and Ro is blamed for the epidemic. The king has Ro locked away in the dungeon, and during that time, the “Prisoner food” that Azul eats also contains the Sunset Herb, and he too falls into a deep sleep. When Antonio begs for her release, Peter makes his son a deal; If he marries Luciana, Ro will be freed.

Ro is banished from Apollonia and placed on a boat that will take her back to her island. On the journey, Tika confesses how she hid Antonio’s note, and Ro forgives her. The entire group is then thrown overboard, as Ariana had paid a man to sabotage the boat. When Ro almost drowns and Sagi attempts to come for her, her memory is triggered of how she was lost at sea as a child, and of a man yelling her real name; “Rosella”. Ro manages to call dolphins for help just in time and they bring the group safely back to shore.

As Antonio and Luciana’s wedding starts, Ariana sneaks some of the sunset herb into the wedding cake, with a little bird named Tiny witnessing it. Ro arrives and quickly starts to make a rose tonic antidote for the poison. Tiny comes to her and tells her that Ariana poisoned the wedding cake as well. She almost completes her task when the king’s guards discover her. Sagi escapes and takes the antidote to Tallulah, who has been poisoned as well. One of the guards chases after him, but Tika takes him down. The other guard is about to lead Ro back to the dungeons.

Hearing about the commotion from Tika, who enters the wedding room just as it is about to start, Antonio, Luciana, Antonio’s parents, Ariana and their guests hurry to the greenhouse, disrupting the wedding. Antonio is ecstatic to see Ro again, while Peter demands that she be thrown in prison for daring to return. She tries to explain the animals have really been poisoned and that she can cure them. The king is hesitant at first, but then a cured Tallulah appears with Sagi, showing that Ro is telling the truth. Ro then exposes Ariana’s plot to everyone. Ariana denies it, but a shocked Luciana confirms Ro’s story by saying that her mother had told her not to eat any wedding food. Exposed, Ariana tries to make a getaway in the wedding carriage, but after a long chase scene, is eventually stopped and captured by falling into the pigs’ pen, which is her only fear from her past.

The king apologizes to Ro and his son. He gives the couple his blessing and embraces Ro. She tells the royal family that her real name is Rosella. A guest behind them, Queen Marissa from Paladia, overhears Ro and comes forward. She tells them that she had a daughter named Rosella. Ro pauses and then starts to sing a lullaby she knew since she was little. Marissa joins in to complete the song, realizing that Ro is indeed her long-lost daughter and that Rosella is the princess of Paladia. Antonio, his parents and Rosella’s animal friends, including the now awake Azul, watch as the reunited mother and daughter embrace. Rosella and Antonio are promptly married. Luciana also attends the wedding and meets a handsome young prince. The happy couple, Rosella and Antonio, wave goodbye to everyone as they set sail on a honeymoon voyage with Sagi, Azul, Tika and Tallulah in tow.

Barbie: Mariposa Plot:

Bibble is worried that he will embarrass himself and won’t belong with his friend’s friends, so Elina tells him the story of her friend Mariposa, a butterfly fairy who lives in a far-off palace called Flutterfield, an island kingdom in Fairytopia populated by fairies with butterfly wings. Henna, the jealous butterfly fairy and the attendant of the queen of Flutterfield, has poisoned the queen in an attempt to take over the kingdom. Due to this, the lights are in danger of going out if she succumbs to the poison. These lights protect Flutterfield from the “Skeezites”, monsters who eat butterfly fairies and are repellent to light. It is up to Mariposa and her employers-friends, sisters Rayna and Rayla, to find an antidote to save the queen.

They first travel according to the map, but when night falls, they are far from Flutterfield, and the Skeezites appear. They engage in a long chase scene, but Mariposa, Rayna, and Rayla escape through a gate of red plants. However, the map gets chomped by a Skeezite. Mariposa remembers that there was a sun picture on the map, and she concludes that they should travel east, as toward the rising sun. The three then arrive at the Wilderness, and encounter a little flying rabbit named Zinzie, who is a great thrower and loves fluttercorn, and leads them to a mermaid statue in exchange for a packet of fluttercorn. They end up all diving into a lake and find mermaids. Mariposa asks them to tell her the whereabouts of the Cave of Reflections, and the mermaids agree to help them, but they ask for one thing in exchange: Concho shells. However, little merbabies are sleeping and use these shells as pillows, and it is revealed that if you wake the baby, the baby cries and wakes a sea monster. Rayla finds a plant and wraps it until it bears the shape of the conch shells. They gently swap the shells with the plant, but one of the babies is tickled on the nose by a little leaf that was not wrapped properly, and the baby wakes and starts crying. This wakes the other babies, who as well start crying, waking the sea monster. While Mariposa delivers the conch shells to the mermaids, Rayna, Zinzie, and Rayla try to escape the sea monster by swimming in different directions. The mermaids help in the end, and they all escape the sea monster.

Meanwhile, Queen Marabella has fallen fatally ill, and the guards captured the prince for trying to find the antidote. The queen’s captain of the guards holds him in a conversation, and another fairy sought the prince and freed him. That fairy is Willa, Mariposa’s best friend. She tells the prince that she has spotted Henna. So they decide to follow her, and the two find out that she had taken control over Skeezites by mixing a strange liquid and thistleburst; moreover, they discover that Henna was plotting to take over Flutterfield all this time.

The mermaids tell the four braves where to find the Cave of Reflections, and they fly towards it eagerly, but find that the cave was guarded by Skeezites. Zinzie manages to trick the Skeezites and the four escape into the cave. There, they find their reflections talking back to themselves. They finally meet the Fairy of the Cave, who leads the group to different sections, where she proclaims each time “one of you must stay behind”. Mariposa was left as the last one, and the cave fairy guides her toward a place filled with stars. She tells that one star holds the antidote she needs. Mariposa eventually finds one (which was all by itself), in which she used the archer’s star pattern to locate it. This hints that this was the correct star, and for that reason, Mariposa is presented with much larger and more beautiful sparkling wings.

The four heroines arrive back just in time when the Skeezites start attacking everyone at the Royal fairy castle. Mariposa eventually discovers that it was Henna who poisoned the queen, so she races to cure her with the antidote. Henna tries stopping Mariposa from foiling her plans, but Mariposa eventually manages to heal Marabella before she dies. Henna leaves and goes away with the Skeezites under the pretense of not getting caught, thus fleeing from the light. After the big save, Queen Marabella presents each of the heroines with a crown of flowers. Since then, Mariposa felt she belonged in Flutterfield, having learned that being herself is the best thing in life.

Barbie & the Diamond Castle Plot:

The film begins with Barbie and her best friend Teresa trying to play a song on their guitars when Barbie’s sister, Stacie, storms in, angry at her friend Courtney and calls her a ‘backstabber’. Barbie decides to tell Stacie the fairytale of two friends named Liana and Alexa, who also get angry at each other.

The two best friends live in a hut beside a beautiful garden and plant flowers to make a living. They also share a love of music. One day, they find two heart-shaped stones which they make into necklaces to symbolize their friendship, not realizing that they are trinkets from the mythical Diamond Castle. The next day, an old woman gives them a mirror after they share the last of their food with her. The mirror is the hiding place of Melody, an apprentice muse from the Diamond Castle. Melody is on the run from Lydia, one of the former three muses who lived in the Diamond Castle. Lydia became evil and turned the other two muses to stone, but not before they hid the Castle and left the key with Melody. If Lydia finds the Diamond Castle, all music will end, and with it eventually the world. Liana and Alexa coax a song out of Melody by singing, and Lydia’s minion, a dragon known as Slyder, locates Melody by her voice.

With their home destroyed by Slyder, Alexa and Liana go with Melody to find the Diamond Castle and keep it safe from Lydia. They find two small puppies and at an inn meet twin musicians named Ian and Jeremy, who hear the girls sing and instantly fall for them, but the girls leave them behind at the inn. Lydia confronts them and tries to cast a spell on them with her flute, but the girls’ necklaces protect them. Lydia sets Slyder on them, but Ian and Jeremy arrive and they all escape.

The girls, now with the twins, comes across a dead-end but soon meet a dislikable troll who captures the boys and vows to eat them and not let the group cross his bridge unless the girls answer his riddles. They do, which frees the boys and reveals a rainbow bridge that carries the girls off, leaving the boys behind. Liana and Alexa soon run out of food. They find a mansion and go to ask for shelter, but the servants there, bewitched by Lydia, tell them that they are the long-awaited mistresses of the house. Alexa wants to stay, but Liana wants to honor the promise they made to Melody, resulting in an argument which turns to a fight. Liana leaves the house with Melody and Alexa stays, ripping off her magic necklace that symbolizes her friendship with Liana in anger. Slyder arrives and takes Alexa to Lydia. After determining that Melody is not with Alexa, Lydia uses her flute’s powers against Alexa to find Liana, and because Alexa is not wearing her magical necklace, she falls under Lydia’s spell. Alexa tells Lydia that Liana and Melody are heading to the seven stones, where the Diamond Castle is hidden.

After Liana is kidnapped, Lydia uses Alexa to scare Melody into revealing the whereabouts of the Diamond Castle. Although Lydia promises to release Liana and Alexa once the Diamond Castle is hers, Slyder knocks the two girls over a cliff, and they narrowly escape falling into acid by hanging onto a ledge. Liana realizes that the necklaces protected them from Lydia’s spell and uses Alexa’s necklace to undo the spell and they climb up the cliff together. Alexa apologizes to Liana for their fight and Liana apologizes too. One of the puppies leads the twins to the girls and together they all head to the hiding place of the Diamond Castle.

Meanwhile, Melody stalls Lydia with false instructions about the key to the castle. The twins lure Slyder away and the girls pretend to fall under Lydia’s spell. Lydia creates a whirlpool and commands the girls to jump in and drown, but Liana takes Lydia’s flute instead. Lydia threatens to break Melody’s mirror, but Melody breaks it herself, not wanting to let the Diamond Castle fall into Lydia’s hands. Lydia throws the mirror in the whirlpool. Alexa saves Melody with the puppies’ help and Liana drops Lydia’s flute in the whirlpool. Lydia goes after it but is caught in the flow. She tries to cast a spell, but her waterlogged flute backfires and she disappears instead.

The girls realize that the song Melody sang earlier is the key, and their singing is the true key of the Diamond Castle. As they step inside, their clothes are transformed into beautiful new dresses, Melody is released from the mirror and she leads Liana and Alexa to the other muses’ instruments. Lydia suddenly returns on Slyder and attacks them. Melody saves the instruments from being turned to stone, and the girls play the instruments and sing, creating a barrier that turns Lydia’s spells against her, turning both her and Slyder into stone and releasing everyone they met along the way free including the muses.

The muses return to the Diamond Castle and reunite with Melody. Then, in a beautiful ceremony, they anoint and crown Liana and Alexa as princesses of music, promote Melody as the third muse and give Jeremy and Ian electric guitars. The muses offer Liana and Alexa to stay at the castle but they want to go home instead, so the muses give them flower seeds and send them on their way.

Back home, Liana and Alexa plant the magical flower seeds and beautiful flowers soon grow. Jeremy and Ian are successful in their performances with their electric guitars.

When the story ends, Stacie realizes nothing can break true friendship and with that, she calls Courtney to apologize after saying goodbye to Barbie and Teresa as they get back to playing their music.

Barbie in A Christmas Carol Plot:

On Christmas Eve, Kelly is reluctant to go to a Christmas Eve ball, so |Barbie tells her the story of Eden Starling, a glamorous singing diva in Victorian England and the owner of a theatre house. However, Eden is self-centred and loves only herself. She is very arrogant and believes that “In a selfish world, the selfish succeed”. She is frequently accompanied by her snooty cat, Chuzzlewit. Eden does not believe in Christmas and orders all her employees to work on Christmas Day, threatening that if anyone talks about Christmas or goes home to celebrate, they will get fired.

Eden’s employees, Freddy, Ann and Nan, Maurice, and costume designer Catherine, also Eden’s best friend since childhood, are disappointed to hear the news. Catherine tries to persuade her otherwise, but is met with no success. That night, she receives a visit from the spirit of her late Aunt Marie, who is chained with chains bound with mirrors for her cruelty to the way she raised her. She reveals that Eden is heading down the same path as she once was and intends to send three spirits to see her. The three spirits will convince Eden to change her life, each by showing her past, her present, and her future.

In Eden’s past Christmases, Aunt Marie was very strict. She insisted that Eden should practice singing and playing piano without giving her a chance to take a rest on Christmas. Secretly, Eden went to her old, dearest friend Catherine’s house to celebrate Christmas. There they sang together, but Aunt Marie showed up and forbade Eden to celebrate Christmas after that. It showed how her arrogant and selfish behavior began to manifest from it. Eden demands the Spirit of Christmas Past returns her to her bedroom.

Meanwhile, the Spirit of Christmas Present shows Eden what the present Christmas Day will be like. Eden sees her co-workers teasing her behind her back, which offends her. She tells her to lighten up because they want to like her, but are never given the chance. The Spirit of Christmas Present also shows her that Catherine is a truly generous person as she gives the orphans clothes and helps at the orphanage. Eden is touched by this and has a change of heart. However, overhearing a conversation between the owner and Catherine about the orphanage is closing down before spring due to a lack of funding, she shows concern for the orphans’ future. When Eden asks the Spirit of Christmas Present what will happen to the orphans if their only home closes down, she becomes more offended when she hears her repeat the cruel words she had originally said to Catherine about them surviving as street urchins and demands they leave at once.

Finally, the Spirit of Christmas Future brings Eden to what her future Christmas will have in store if the shadows remain unchanged. After firing her co-workers from the Gadshill Theatre for coming in late on Christmas Day, the replacements she hired to fill in failed to live up to her expectations. Arriving into the future, Eden has lost her fame and becomes so poor, even Chuzzlewit’s only dinner, a rat, runs away! She is not happy by this, but the spirit uses her magic staff to open a window to show her it’s real. The Future Eden is cold and she shuts the window. However, she sees an advertisement of Catherine’s new fashion studio to see the new fashion line. Thinking this is a sign things will change, Eden encourages her future self to visit her because she knows that Catherine would never let her live like this. Emboldened, future Eden tells Chuzzlewitt they’re going to see an old friend. Immediately, Eden and the Spirit of Christmas Future has followed her future self to the fashion studio.

Unfortunately, Catherine has not only become a rich and popular fashion designer, but she also adopts an arrogant attitude, much like the previous Eden did. She is very cruel to her own co-workers in refusing to take the Holidays off and demands they keep working in order to present the new fashion line on time. When a visibly poor Eden asks for help, Catherine refuses because she was bitter with the way she treated her and stopped celebrating Christmas with her family. She also tells her that she had tried to be selfless in looking after everyone and helped the poorest orphanage in town. After she was fired by Eden for coming in late on Christmas morning, Catherine had to scramble for work and found another job. However, it took her out of town for months. By the time she returned to town for Christmas, she was financially secure and ready to adopt Tammy, an orphan girl with a limp, right away. Unfortunately, Catherine was unaware that the orphanage closed down while she was away and was frantic to find her. She frantically looked for Tammy everywhere and soon learned that she and the other orphans have become street urchins. After that, Catherine stopped caring and focused on herself more in order to cope, showing that she took Eden’s advice to heart. Future Eden and Chuzzlewitt are turned away by her, only being left with a scarf which is dropped in the snow.

Now horrified from what she saw, Eden begs the spirit to give her another chance because she has changed and awakens from her dreams in her own bedroom. She decides to let her employees have a holiday and is good to them too. She also goes with Catherine to the orphanage and “adopts” the place, announcing that if any of the orphans needed any help, they were to go straight to her. Through her good deeds, Eden ultimately learns to keep the spirit of Christmas every day of the year. Through these journeys, Eden is able to change her life and learns to help and love others.

Kelly changes her mind about Christmas after listening to Barbie’s stories. She decides to go to the donation party just as Nikki comes into Barbie’s bedroom.

Barbie: Thumbelina Plot:

The story opens with Barbie and kindergarten students walking in a big meadow, ready to plant trees. Emma, one of the children, finds a small tree and decides to plant it, but her friends laugh at her because of it, making her sad. However, Barbie cheers her up by telling her that a small tree can grow into a very big tree. Then Barbie tells the children about Thumbelina.

Thumbelina is one of the Twillerbees. Twillerbees have the ability to make plants grow faster (and as revealed later on, they can grow plants out of nowhere as well). Thumbelina is excited when there will be Twillerbabies. She creates fake wings for herself and for her two friends, Janessa and Chrysella. They will use the wings to see the Twillerbuds bloom to be Twillerbabies. When they try the wings, suddenly many tractors come to their field. Hiding in the flowers, the trio are trapped. They are brought into an apartment they never knew before.

The apartment belongs to the parents of a spoiled, wealthy girl, named Makena. The flower bed is placed in Makena’s bedroom. As Thumbelina, Chrysella, and Janessa search for a way to go back to their field, Makena’s dog Poofles run after them. Makena comes into the bedroom while the trio hides. Makena talks to her friend Violet from a cell phone about her parents who will build a factory on the Twillerbees field.

An upset Thumbelina scolds Makena, who is surprised, yet happy to find an interesting thing to be demonstrated to Violet. She always competes against Violet. The three Twillerbees try to escape from Makena and Poofles.

Finally, Thumbelina sends Chrysella and Janessa home. They will disturb the work in the field while Thumbelina will talk to Makena. Thumbelina makes Makena promise not to tell anyone about her and Makena must persuade her parents to stop building the factory. Thumbelina will make special things for Makena in return.

At first, Makena does not talk seriously to her parents about it. She even wants to break her promise to Thumbelina when she invites Violet and Ashlynn. She wants them to see the thing everyone in the universe cannot have which is Thumbelina. Thumbelina becomes angry at Makena and leaves the apartment, just before Makena realizes that Violet and Ashlyn are not her true friends, Thumbelina is her true friend.

Makena goes to the field and asks for Thumbelina’s forgiveness. She also wants to save the field desperately and earnestly. Thumbelina, forgiving her, shows Makena the other Twillerbees and the Twillerbuds.

That night, Makena, Thumbelina, Janessa, Chrysella, Poofles, and Lola the bird works hard in the greenhouse to grow the plants. The next day, Makena asks her parents to stop the building, and Thumbelina shows herself. Thumbelina explains to them about the Twillerbuds that will bloom soon. Evan and Vanessa, Makena’s parents, are convinced and try to stop Myron, the contractor, from destroying the field.

With the help of birds and other Twillerbees, Myron’s workers run away, thinking that the field is haunted, But Myron is angry and determined to finish his work as he hates flowers. Ultimately, Makena and Thumbelina arrive and they stop Myron. Immediately, Evan and Vanessa arrive at the field to have the factory project shut down. A team of birds chase Myron away, and Makena and her family see the Twillerbuds bloom.

To prevent others from building factories in the field, they turn the field into a Reserved Park.

In the end of the story, it shows that Barbie and the children are in Makena’s Reserved Park. Barbie says that even the smallest person can make a big difference. Makena is small, compared to the adults. And so are the children.

Barbie and the Three Musketeers Plot:

But unfortunately when they make it to Paris, becoming a musketeer is not easy for Corinne. She is made fun of by other people, especially Prince Louis’ cousin, Phillippe. His dog, Brutus takes her letter to Monsieur Treville and flees to the castle. Corinne gets the letter back, but Brutus damages it. After having a conservation with Treville, he tells Corinne that she is not ready and she is disappointed that this day is not turning out as she had hoped. But the wicked Brutus chases Miette towards the castle making a worse scenario with three palace maids. Corinne encounters Madame de Bosse, who hires her as a fourth palace maid. After a hard day, one of the maids, Aramina, convinces the other two maids Viveca and Renee to let Corinne and Miette stay. They befriend each other and forgive her for what happened.

The next day when they return to work, Corinne meets Prince Louis for the first time. After talking to Phillippe about his hot-air balloon invention, a chandelier drops and almost crushes the prince but he moves just in time and Viveca, Aramina and Renee show off their musketeer skills to defend themselves from the chandelier fragments. Corinne finds a small red gem next to the chandelier rope which appears to have been cut. Corinne tells her friends about her dream to become a musketeer and they are surprised at first but also excited because the three girls also have the same dreams of being musketeers too.

An old maid named Helen overhears their conversation and takes them through a secret passageway, where she leads them to the old musketeer’s training room and agrees to train the four girls to be true musketeers. Soon the four girls are practicing their skills with Helen’s help.

One day, while Corinne is cleaning the windows, she spots the prince hanging from his flying hot-air balloon and runs to help him. The prince thanks Corinne and they immediately fall in love. While on the balloon, she finds that the rope attached has been cut, just like the chandelier in the castle. When the prince says girls can’t be musketeers, she storms off angrily and tells her friends what happened Helen warns her and the girls to keep eyes and ears open for enemies, otherwise, Prince Louis will be in grave danger. Miette sneaks to the castle, with Corinne’s horse, Alexander’s, help to join training with Corinne and her friends. Finally, their training with musketeer skills is complete and Helen is very impressed.

One night, Corinne, Viveca, Aramina, and Renee decide to celebrate their musketeer skills and take a walk into the dark, quiet streets. They encounter men led by a man named Regent who pulls out a knife and Corrine realizes it matches the gem she found next to the chandelier rope. They discover that the Regent’s men were sneaking weapons into the masquerade ball to kill Louis so that his evil cousin Phillippe will be the new king.

They try to tell Treville but no one believes them and they are banned from the castle. They wear disguises and sneak into the ball without being caught. The prince chooses to dance with Corinne, though he does not recognize her with her mask on. The evil men capture Treville and the other musketeers, attack the girls and throw Louis into the passageways where Phillippe chases him to the rooftops. In the end, after fighting the men and untying Treville and the musketeers, Corinne saves Louis just in time and they arrest Phillippe, Regent, Brutus, and their men. Corinne, Viveca, Aramina and Renee remove their masks and Corinne and Louis reconcile. Louis names them royal musketeers on the day of his coronation to be king. Helen takes Madame de Bosse’s place and Madame de Bosse is made a maid as punishment for being so wicked and bossy. Corinne’s mother is very proud that her daughter had finally become a musketeer. Louis offers to take Corinne on another balloon ride, but before she can say yes Treville receives word a plot against the king so Corinne and her three best friends ride off on their horses to save another day. After saying “All for one, and One for all!” and waving goodbye to Louis and the kingdom they ride off happily towards the sunset to their next destination.

Barbie in A Mermaid Tale Plot:

Merliah Summers is an avid surfer in Malibu. While participating in a surfing competition, Merliah loses concentration when her hair spontaneously streaks pink and wipes out. While underwater, she discovers that she can breathe in water, and is approached by talking pink dolphin named Zuma. Merliah is shocked by this turn of events and tells her friends Fallon and Hadley about what happened. While Fallon is just as skeptical as Merliah, Hadley believes the occurrences are true. Merliah then goes home to get her head straight.

Merliah tells Break, her grandfather, of the incident. Break explains that Merliah’s mother is a mermaid and that Merliah was given to Break as a baby to raise because she was born with legs. Merliah doesn’t believe him and goes to her friends Fallon and Hadley, telling them the story.

Zuma appears to the girls, confirming that Merliah is half-mermaid. Zuma explains to Merliah that her mother is Calissa, previous queen of the underwater kingdom of Oceana. Oceana’s current queen is Eris, Calissa’s sister, who is a tyrant and took the throne when Calissa went missing years earlier. Zuma hopes that Merliah will claim her birthright and usurp Eris. Merliah refuses, and in her anger throws the necklace she’d been wearing since she was an infant. The smashed pendant reveals a magical image of Calissa, confirming that she is alive. Merliah agrees to go to Oceana in the hopes that Calissa can make Merliah normal again.

Oceana, a place with beautiful coral and wonderful shops like Seafora all around town. As soon as they get there they need to find Merliah a tail that will suit her right. When they get there, Eris holds a meeting but does not see Merliah without a tail.

With Zuma as her guide, Merliah arrives in Oceana and meets Zuma’s mermaid friends, Kayla and Xylie. Kayla and Xylie give Merliah an outfit to hide her legs, and together they visit the Destinies, three mermaids with prophetic powers. The Destinies tell Merliah that she needs to collect three items in order to succeed in overthrowing Eris: the Celestial Comb, a Dreamfish and Eris’ protective necklace. The group search for the items, occasionally calling Fallon and Hadley for help with research. They find the Celestial Comb in an underwater cave and the Dreamfish in the Adenato currents.

In order to obtain Eris’ necklace, Merliah, Kayla, and Xylie approach Eris, performing a song and dance to distract her long enough for Merliah to grab Eris’ necklace, but soon has her mermaid tail pulled off, revealing her legs. In a rage, Eris creates a whirlpool to banish Merliah to the deepest depths of the ocean. While inside the whirlpool, Merliah calls the Dreamfish for help. The Dreamfish offers to grant Merliah’s deepest wish and send her back to Malibu and erase her mermaid half for good. Merliah rejects the wish and accepts her responsibility as the princess of Oceana. Due to this, Merliah is given a real mermaid tail, which she uses to escape the whirlpool herself. Merliah reveals her identity to the people of Oceana, proving her identity by brandishing the Celestial Comb. Eris rushes Merliah, and after a chase, Merliah is able to lure Eris into the whirlpool. Eris is trapped and sent into the deepest depths of the ocean.

Merliah finds and sets Calissa free. Calissa is queen again and makes Oceana healthy once more. In the aftermath, Merliah confesses that she misses her life as a human, and Calissa gives her a magical necklace that enables her to be a human or mermaid whenever she wishes. Merliah then returns to land, where she is reunited with her grandfather and wins the surfing competition.

Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale Plot:

The movie starts with Barbie filming a movie called The Princess and the Pea based on the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen, but she is fired when she questions the director’s innovations. After reading mean comments about her on the Internet and beginning to doubt her future as an actress, Barbie receives a phone call from Ken, saying that he wants to break up with her immediately. Advised by her best friends, Teresa and Grace, to get away for a while, Barbie goes to Paris to visit her Aunt Millicent, who runs a fashion house.[4]

Teresa and Grace confront Ken about the break-up, and they all realize that Barbie’s arch-rival, Raquelle, made the call, using a recording of Ken reading from a script. Ken sets off for Paris to show Barbie he loves her, but he encounters many problems before getting to her.

In Paris, Barbie learns that, through the machinations of a rival designer, Jacqueline, Millicent has just sold her business. With her new friend, Alice, Barbie meets the wingless but magical beings called flairies, who have the power to add sparkle to any outfit. To save Aunt Millicent’s fashion house, which is also the source of the flairies’ powers, Barbie and company set up and host a fashion show. During the show, the flairy Glimmer, who always struggled with her magic, finally manifests her powers and transforms Barbie’s final outfit into a glittering three-tiered rose pink gown. Ken finally arrives and jumps onto the catwalk to tell Barbie he loves her.

Lilliana Roxelle, Paris’s top fashion critic, congratulates them on a spectacular show and invites them to her Black, White, and Pink party that night. Jacqueline finally appreciates their work and also apologizes to everybody for all the trouble she caused and promises to change. Glimmer harnesses her magic a second time and transforms the limousines into beautiful stagecoaches. The story ends after the film studio invites Barbie back, to direct a new film.

Barbie: A Fairy Secret Plot:

Barbie is at the premiere of her latest movie along with her actor friend Ken, when her rival and co-star, Raquelle, steps on her dress, ripping it. Her stylists, Carrie and Taylor, who are secretly fairies, use magic to mend it. Crystal, a photographer, greets Carrie and Taylor and, taking one last picture of Ken, leaves to go back to Gloss Angeles. Crystal shows Princess Graciella the pictures she took at the premiere. She gives the Princess some tea in which she secretly mixed a love potion. Due to the potion’s effects, her eyes color changes from blue to purple. Crystal then shows the Princess the picture of Ken she took, and Graciella falls in love with him almost instantly.

The next day at Wally’s restaurant, Barbie angrily confronts Raquelle about the dress-stepping incident. During the facade, Princess Graciella, Crystal, and two assistant fairies unexpectedly show up and kidnap Ken. Carrie and Taylor sprout their wings and attempt to stop the Princess from taking Ken, but the portal to Gloss Angeles closes before they can enter it. The stylists attempt to dissuade Raquelle and Barbie of the fact that they just saw fairies, but finally admit their existence. They explain that Ken is in trouble because if a human marries a fairy, the human has to stay in Gloss Angeles forever. Meanwhile, in Gloss Angeles, Ken and the Princess arrive in the royal palace, where they meet Zane, Graciella’s boyfriend. Zane is outraged at Graciella’s new love interest and challenges Ken to three consecutive duels.

Barbie, Raquelle, and the fairies go to a clothing store, where they enter a Fairy Flyway (a fairy method of transport), which leads them to the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The fairies reveal that Lilianna Roxelle, a world-famous fashion critic, is the oldest and wisest fairy living on Earth. After they arrive at Lilianna’s home, she informs them that Princess Graciella is under a love potion spell. She gives Barbie an antidote that will turn the Princess back to normal if it rains down on her. It is also revealed that Taylor and Carrie were banished from Gloss Angeles earlier due to some personal reasons. The girls then take Liliana’s portal to continue their journey.

Barbie, Raquelle, Taylor, and Carrie make it to Gloss Angeles and they make a stop to Wings and Things in order to get wings for Barbie and Raquelle where they run into the human owner named Reena and her fairy husband Graylon. They then disguise themselves as cooks to try to reveal Princess Graciella about Crystal’s love potion; however, Crystal reveals Taylor and Carrie by recognizing Taylor’s shoes, and the princess locks the four in furyspheres. Barbie and Raquelle talk and finally figure out their misunderstanding. The reason Raquelle has always been so mean to Barbie is because she never got the chance to be Barbie’s friend. They apologize to each other and become friends. Their reconciliation breaks the furyspheres and their wings become real, and they now realize that forgiveness lets them fly. The two then go to stop the wedding between Graciella and Ken, holding off the attendants and the princess. Finally, Barbie pours the antidote over Graciella, curing her from the love potion. Graciella realizes that it was Crystal who gave her the love potion and apologizes for the misunderstanding. She also explains that the reason she banished Taylor and Carrie is because the three of them were once friends but Taylor and Carrie started spending so much time together that she felt left out and betrayed. At the urging of Barbie and Raquelle, she lifts Taylor and Carrie’s ban, and the three fairies forgive each other. Graciella then punishes Crystal by having her clean up after the ceremony and goes to marry Zane.

After the wedding, Graciella tells Barbie and Raquelle that their wings will disappear when they and Ken go back to the human world and then reappear when they return to Gloss Angeles. She also tells them that their memories of their adventures here will be erased. Graciella sends them back to Earth with magical dust. The next morning, Barbie wakes up with no recollection of Gloss Angeles or the fairies, thinking it was a dream. However, she and Raquelle are now friends. Back at Wally’s, Carrie and Taylor tell the two that they reconnected with an old friend (Princess Graciella) and are going back to their hometown (Gloss Angeles). In the last scene, Carrie and Taylor turn into fairies and fly back through the portal.

Barbie: Princess Charm School Plot:

Blair Willows is a kind-hearted and somewhat clumsy young girl who lives within the kingdom of Gardania in a decrepit apartment building with her sickly mother and younger sister, Emily. She works as a waitress at Cafe Gardania to support their financial burdens. Upon returning home from another long day at work, Emily watches the annual “Princess Procession” on TV, where princesses from many kingdoms come to enroll at the original Princess Charm School, a glamorous academy that teaches proper princess etiquette for princesses to learn their full princess potential. Each semester, one commoner is allowed enrollment if she wins a lottery that awards a full scholarship and the chance to become a Lady Royal, a princess’s most trusted adviser.

Blair is picked as the lottery winner, much to her surprise; Emily had secretly entered Blair’s name multiple times each day. Initially, Blair doesn’t want to leave her family behind, but her mother sees it as a good opportunity for her daughter and convinces her to go. Blair leaves for school in a carriage driven by an employee named Brock. There, Blair is greeted by a large golden retriever, Prince, that takes an immediate liking to her. The headmistress of the school, Alexandra Privet, takes Blair to her locker while introducing her to the school. At her locker, Blair meets a fairy named Grace, who is assigned to be her personal princess assistant. Grace brings Blair to her dorm where she meets her roommates. Isla, a timid musician, and Hadley, an outgoing athlete, are both princesses.

At the Starlight Welcoming ceremony, the students receive their training crowns. Miss Privet explains that the princesses will get real crowns after successfully completing the semester. Another teacher at the school, Dame Devin, declares that she will quit her job instructing at the Princess Charm School after her daughter, Delancy, who is also attending the school, becomes the new princess of Gardania at the end of the semester. She goes on to explain that both she and her daughter have lived at the royal palace since her sister-in-law, Queen Isabella, and her family died in a car crash many years ago. Isla and Hadley, seated with the rest of their fellow students, tell Blair about a well-known legend which claims that not everyone from the Royal Family had died in the crash.

After the ceremony, each student has a curtsying class before dismissal for the evening. Blair gets distracted by Hadley and Isla’s continued tale and bumps into Delancy, who seems to have already developed quite a strong dislike for Blair, and openly expresses her disdain over the school’s lottery system of allowing commoners to enroll. Isla and Hadley comfort Blair, telling her that they are positive that Blair can do anything that Delancy can do.

The next day, as classes roll on, many of the other girls, save for Delancy, struggle in their lessons, with Dame Devin singling out Blair the most. However, upon getting a better view of Blair’s face, Dame Devin becomes shocks herself before she ruthlessly tells her to get out of her class and states that a commoner like her doesn’t belong at such an establishment. Later on, at lunch, Delancy, inspired by her mother’s viciousness, makes her sprite assistant Wickellia secretly tuck a piece of tablecloth into Blair’s skirt. This embarrases Blair when she unexpectedly drags her and her friends’ trays clear off the table upon standing. Back within their dorm room, Isla and Hadley try to cheer up Blair by telling her that Dame Devin, herself, was once a lottery winner, as well. However, none of the princesses at that time had selected her to be their Lady Royal, not even Queen Isabella.

Afterward, a knock upon their door is heard, and Hadley goes to open it, revealing a struggling Grace holding onto a large care package addressed to Blair, from her sister Emily. Inside are various letters and other items, including a drawing depicting a baby Blair being left on their mother’s doorstep. Blair explains to her curious friends that she is adopted, and so is Emily, and that the drawing is in reference to a tale which is a favorite of Emily’s (told to her by their mother), in which Blair had suddenly been found upon their mother’s doorstep when she was just a year old. Miss Privet arrives at the girls’ dorm room in order to tell Blair a bit of bad news regarding her continued enrollment but afterward stops herself from doing so upon unintentionally eavesdropping.

The following day, this time at a ballroom dancing class, Blair continually manages to step onto the toes of Delancy’s friend, Portia, who is Blair’s dance partner. As a result, Blair is kept behind after class by Miss Privet, who was the class instructor. Now alone, she tells Blair that Dame Devin wanted her to be expelled, a desire which had almost been granted; however, Miss Privet admits to Blair that she is aware of her personal reasons for wanting to become a Lady Royal (which is solely to support her family even better), and so decides to tutor her personally. She then explains to Blair that each lesson her students learn simply isn’t for superficial reasons, but rather to instill a better sense of character and confidence within each girl.

As wintertime arrives, the Charm School students are one day joined by the young men from the “Prince Charming Academy” (the male counterpart to their own establishment) for one of their dance classes. Blair inevitably gets partnered with a young prince-to-be named Nicholas, who appears to be more or less similar to her. As a result, the two seem to hit it off, as they share various jokes with one another while dancing. Jealous, as she had been hoping to dance with Nicholas herself, Delancy trips Blair in order to once again humiliate her. Thankfully, Nicholas helps Blair to quickly recover, as the two lead the overall group (sans Delancy). When they are done, the men leave, much to the regret of the women, but Miss Privet assures them that they will again return in order to attend both the graduation ceremony and Delancy’s coronation ceremony as the princess of Gardania at the end of the semester.

With the ceremony only two days away, where both the princesses and Lady Royals will be crowned, Miss Privet announces that the girls will get to spend another one of their table manners classes within the palace this time. Blair, Hadley and Isla go with their sprites (along with the rest of their fellow students) to pamper themselves within the school spa as a preparatory treat, while Dame Devin secretly instructs Wickellia to rip up the girls’ uniforms (without which they cannot attend any class). Meanwhile, Isla and Hadley continue to tell Blair more legends about the Royal Family, including one about Gardania’s magic crown, which lights up when put upon the head of the rightful heir to the throne.

The girls head back to their room to find their uniforms torn to shreds. As both Isla and Hadley lament over the fact that they cannot attend class without them on, and that missing any class will result within an immediate F grade, Blair, having now grown a bit more confident over time, creates some new, personalized uniforms using leftover fabric from the old ones.

Having made it to the palace in time, Blair, Isla, Hadley, and the rest of the students are awarded a bit of free time to explore the first floor before their class starts. While doing so, the trio mysteriously find a portrait of Blair, which actually turns out to be Princess Isabella, when she was eighteen years old, the same age as Blair. The girls then see a portrait of the entire Royal Family: Queen Isabella, her husband, King Reginald, a puppy which Blair is stunned to realize is actually Prince, the dog, and a young baby girl in the Queen’s arms.

Upon further inspection of the portrait, Hadley and Isla begin to surmise that perhaps Blair could be the baby from the picture, and proceed to ask her when exactly it was that her mother found her as a baby. Blair reveals the date to be April 26, a date which had also become her birthday when her mother found her on her doorstep, as she didn’t know her actual date-of-birth. Stunned, yet now more convinced than ever that their suspicions are correct, both Isla and Hadley reveal to Blair that April 26 was the very same day that the Royal Family perished in that car accident. They then say that perhaps Princess Sophia didn’t die with the King and Queen, after all, but rather had been found and left in front of somebody else’s door to be raised.

This hypothesis also makes them realize that this was the most probable reason why Dame Devin and Delancy have continually been so unfair to Blair, because she and Princess Sophia are both the same person, and thus, is the rightful heir to the throne of Gardania. Unbeknownst to the trio, Delancy has eavesdropped upon the entire conversation and promptly becomes disturbed by the news, as her mother had never told her these things.

Later on at class, Dame Devin reveals to her students her intentions for Gardania (which she passes off as Delancy’s) once her daughter is made princess: to bulldoze the underdeveloped areas of the land and create parks in their place, in order to make the overall kingdom more beautiful. Blair is shocked by this, and informs her that her family lives there, but Dame Devin heartlessly remarks that she should have left the school immediately in order to move her family to a new home in time, not at all caring that such an act would be impossible for them, as they have no money. Blair attempts to talk to Delancy to see sense, but she remains silent, worried about what her mother will further do when she is a princess.

Blair runs away to her room, feeling heartbroken and utterly devastated. She then packs up her belongings and prepares to leave the school once and for all; however, upon gazing at the drawing that Emily sent her before, she decides to stay and fight back against Dame Devin.

Meeting back up with Hadley and Isla, Blair informs them that she intends to locate the magical crown so that she can use it to prove that she is the rightful heir, and thus successfully foiling Dame Devin’s plans for good. Her friends naturally volunteer to help, and so the trio plan to go back to the palace later that night to search for it, before the graduation and coronation the following day.

That evening, before the girls can leave, a fire alarm suddenly goes off. The students all go outside accordingly, while Dame Devin secretly places three pieces of her jewelry within Blair, Hadley and Isla’s dorm room in order to implicate them and finally have them expelled. Delancy sees her leaving the room and becomes suspicious, but her mother quickly changes the subject by asking her why she suddenly has a customized uniform like Blair and her friends, to which Delancy coolly explains it’s simply because she likes the way it looks.

A little more than half an hour later, the students can finally go back into their rooms, but Blair, Isla, and Hadley are abruptly stopped by a guard, Dame Devin, and Miss Privet. They are then accused of stealing Dame Devin’s jewelry, about which they naturally dispute. However, upon searching their dorm room, the guard successfully locates each missing valuable.

The girls are then to be detained until after the coronation ceremony. However, while the guard is taking them away, Delancy suddenly approaches and stops him, claiming that she wishes to carry out their punishment herself, and as she is to be princess within just a few hours, she says he will have to follow her orders. At first hesitant to listen to her, he obliges and she asks Blair if she is really Princess Sophia, to which Blair says that she believes she is. Delancy then quickly hands over a map of the palace basement where the magical crown is located, further revealing to them that she is assisting their efforts because she wants to do what is right for the kingdom. Before parting ways, she also tells them she will leave a window open on the third floor of the palace for them to enter through, and then runs off back to her room, as her mother believes her to be asleep.

Blair, Hadley, and Isla head back to the palace and find Prince thankfully distracting another guard for them. They then use a rope from their bag to climb up to the third-floor window, before taking an elevator inside to the basement. Hadley notices devices on the walls within the room and recognizes them as invisible laser alarms which will set off its detection if any are stepped through. Blair carefully blows a bit of makeup powder towards the lasers in order to make them become visible. Hadley, the most athletic of the three, uses some of her impressive gymnastic abilities in order to bypass the beams and make it to the other side, while both Blair and Isla make a far more slower trek across, with some help from Grace.

After clearing the lasers, there is a keypad which needs a password to unlock a vault door which most probably contains the magical crown, so they try the date of Delancy’s coronation. However, the password is incorrect, and so they use the hint (“The day it all fell into place”) to figure out the real password. They then try the date of the car crash and it works. Inside the room are several of Dame Devin’s possessions. Blair and her friends eventually find the magical crown, but Dame Devin finds them and makes Brock, her guard, seize the crown from them. She then locks them inside and changes the password, with Isla memorizing the tune of the pressed buttons.

The girls are stuck within the vault for several hours, right up to when the coronation begins and Delancy is mere moments away from being officially crowned. Seeing that they have yet to arrive, she figures out how to stall the proceedings while Blair and her friends try to find a way to escape. Isla, meanwhile, keeps humming the tune of the keypad buttons, and Hadley, who had been attempting to pry open the vault doors with a sword she had found, accidentally knocks the cover off a nearby box of electrical wires.

Seeing this and realizing that it is most likely connected to the vault’s stored password, they wire up Blair’s phone to the keypad to use her phone buttons to enter the password from inside of the room. Isla, having memorized the new password, she carefully hums out the tune before entering it onto the phone. Successful, they finally make their hurried escape.

The girls arrive at the graduation ceremony just in time, and Blair confidently makes an open claim to the throne, stating that she is Princess Sophia. Emily and her mother, who are watching the action on TV, gasp in shock.

The royal judge, who crowns the princesses and Lady Royals, takes Blair seriously, but Dame Devin, now furious, tries to stop her. They begin to fight over the crown before Delancy manages to catch it and then has to decide whether to give it to her mother or to Blair. In the end, she chooses to give it to Blair, and when she puts it on, it immediately illuminates and transforms her appearance magically, to look more like a princess, much to Dame Devin’s shock. The students are convinced that Blair is Princess Sophia.

Dame Devin, amidst her outrage, unknowingly and publicly exclaims that she was the one who had Queen Isabella and King Reginald murdered in the car crash just so that Delancy could become the queen instead of Blair, shocking everyone (including Blair’s mom and Emily). Dame Devin tries to say otherwise, but the judge who was angered by her involvement in Queen Isabella’s murder orders for her to be arrested. A disheartened Delancy watches on as Devin is dragged away as she swears vengeance. At Miss Privet’s prompting, Blair makes a quick, introductory speech, telling the people of Gardania that she is honored to be their princess. Miss Privet then tells her that now is the time when she must select a Lady Royal, and Blair, in gratitude, chooses Delancy, who is delighted and then crowned.

Later that evening, at the graduation party, everyone dances to one of Isla’s songs, “We Rule This School,” which she was reluctant to play from the beginning. Even Miss Privet dances along with her students, while the now Prince Nicholas arrives and meets up with Blair again. He states that he is unsure of whether to call her Blair or Princess Sophia, but she assures him that she wants to continue going by the name “Blair.”

The new Lady Royal, Delancy, then announces that the Princess has some special visitors, which are revealed to be Emily and her mother. Blair welcomes them to their “new home”. Emily then asks Blair if, since Blair is now a princess, does that also make her one, as well. Blair warmly tells her: “Of course; there’s a princess in every girl,” before stating that she wishes to introduce both she and their mother to everyone as the credits roll.

Barbie in A Mermaid Tale 2 Plot:

A year after the events of the previous film, Merliah Summers is competing in the heats of an invitational surf-meet. Merliah wins first place, narrowly beating her rival, Kylie Morgan, though both ladies get to compete in the finals in Australia.

Merliah uses her magical necklace to transform into a mermaid and tell her mother, Queen Calissa, the good news. Calissa is preparing for the Changing of the Tides Ceremony to be held at the city of Aquellia, which is performed every twenty years to gift the ability to make Merliah a member of the royal family. Calissa expects Merliah to attend, but the surfing competition is on exactly the same day. They both argue after which they part ways.

The next round of heats take place in Australia, and Kylie beats Merliah when she deliberately brushes Merliah’s surfboard and causes her to wipe out. Despite Kylie’s win, Merliah’s handstand maneuver attracts the attention of reporters, and she’s approached by Georgie Majors who asks Merliah to be a spokesperson for Wave Crest surf gear.

That night at a luau, Merliah has a photoshoot with Georgie. Kylie is approached by a fish named Alistair who tells her that Merliah has powers that give her an advantage with surfing. Alistair convinces Kylie to steal Merliah’s necklace, which Merliah has taken off because of the photoshoot. Kylie gets the necklace, and following Alistair’s instructions, puts it on and turns into a mermaid. Alistair then lures Kylie underwater to the deep trench where Eris is still trapped in a whirlpool. Snouts, the sea lion, who witnessed Kylie’s transformation, secretly follows them. Alistair and Eris trick Kylie into entering the whirlpool, taking Eris’ place and freeing her.

Snouts returns to the surface to Merliah, who has been searching for her necklace. Even without her necklace, Merliah can still breathe underwater, so she follows Snouts to the trench and frees Kylie from the whirlpool. Kylie is grateful to Merliah and apologizes for stealing her necklace, but when she takes it off to return it, her mermaid tail turns back into legs and Kylie loses the ability to breathe underwater. Merliah quickly hands the necklace back to Kylie to prevent her from drowning. Kylie then promises Merliah to help her stop Eris.

Eris and Alistair travel to Aquellia so that Eris can perform the Changing of Tides ceremony herself. Along the way, they meet Stargazers, a group of large, powerful fish. Eris threatens them with her new spell to bring people’s worst fears to life, and they agree to follow and obey her. They reach Aquellia while Calissa and the ambassadors of the ocean: Mirabella, Kattrin, Selena, and Renata, are waiting for the midday sun for the ceremony to begin. A fight ensues, and Eris manages to cast her spell on Calissa, whose tail becomes heavy and drags her down to the bottom of the ocean. Eris also casts the spell on all the ambassadors and puts them in a trap.

Merliah, Kylie, and Snouts meet up with Zuma and Calissa, and Calissa and Merliah apologize to each other. As Calissa is unable to move because of the spell, Merliah decides to perform the ceremony in her place, accepting that in doing so she will have a tail permanently. Merliah, Kylie, Zuma, and Snouts go to Aquellia, where they manage to get past the Stargazers and free the ambassadors. Merliah manages to get on the throne at the right time, but because she has legs, it doesn’t work. Kylie passes the necklace to Merliah in time, and the ceremony is completed, undoing all of Eris’s spells and giving Merliah a new tail. Eris’ spell also bounces back to herself, giving her legs.

Merliah, Calissa, and Kylie swim to the surface in time for the surf meet finals. Calissa gives Kylie the magical necklace since she has proven herself in keeping it after helping them. Although Merliah has accepted her duty, she wishes that she could be human again and her legs magically return by themselves. Calissa explains that the ceremony turns whoever does it into their true self, and Merliah’s true self is both mermaid and human.

Kylie and Merliah join the competition together, but when they surf, Merliah is distracted by her newfound ability to create Merillia when she touches the water. Kylie wins the competition and is offered to become a Wave Crest spokesperson by Georgie. Kylie brings Merliah up on stage, and they hold the trophy together.

Barbie: The Princess & the Popstar Plot:

During summertime, Meribella, a magical kingdom, is going to have its five hundredth anniversary. Princess Tori and her younger sisters Meredith and Trevi are very busy, having to attend ceremonies and balls, and always be poised and proper. The princesses think it is hard work. Whenever they have the chance, they sneak away and play together. Before Meribella’s five hundredth anniversary, the princesses have to greet royal visitors, who come to Meribella for the occasion. Tori wishes she could have an exciting, music-filled life like her favorite popstar, Keira. She wishes she could watch Keira performing near her palace.

Keira, a world-famous and popular, but kind singer-songwriter, is on the guest list and is going to perform at the festival for the Meribella’s five hundredth anniversary. Keira enjoys touring, greeting fans and having extravagant, spectacular concerts. However, it leaves her with no time to do what she was passionate about: writing songs.

Keira thinks being a princess would be awesome. The next day, members of the royal court are invited to the palace in Meribella to meet the royal family. Duchess Amelia, Tori’s strict aunt, forbids Tori to watch Keira’s concert when she was supposed to be greeting guests. When Keira arrives at the palace for the festival, she meets Tori. They instantly become friends, and their pet dogs Vanessa and Riff, too. Tori gives Keira a tour of the palace and so they began joking about trading places. Keira tells Tori how she longs to be a princess and wear a tiara like her. Tori gives Keira her tiara to try it on. Keira takes out her magic microphone and magically turns her outfit into a gown and Tori then shows her magical brush to Keira. Tori uses her magic hairbrush, so she uses it to transform her hair into a different hairstyle. They then realize that they look just alike. Aunt Amelia walks into the room and drags Keira, who is disguised as Tori back to the ballroom, where an embarrassing encounter takes place. Keira accidentally trips and falls on Prince Liam of Stuffinsburg. They have an awkward conversation, smiling and blushing, after which Keira and Tori continue their tour. Tori convinces Keira to stay disguised as each other while she carries on giving Keira a tour of her palace. They enter a secret garden, where fairies tend to the plants. There is a diamond gardenia plant, which is used to pay for school and other things. Tori tells Keira that the Diamond Gardenia roots spread through the entire kingdom. Without it, Meribella’s plants would die. The Diamond Gardenia makes the kingdom magical. Tori finds two tiny diamonds at the base of the Diamond Gardenia. The fairies put the diamonds on their necklaces, making them their friendship necklaces. Outside, Keira’s manager, Crider, is tired of not being a star and comes to the palace to find valuables while getting a tour from Tori’s aunt. Tori’s aunt then notices that Tori has bought Keira to see the Diamond Gardenia and scolds her about bringing strangers into the secret area. Keira’s manager, who has been secretly eavesdropping, plans to steal the diamond plant.

Tori and Keira head back to Tori’s room after Keira almost got into trouble. Tori and Keira realize they want to continue to be each other and agree to remain as each other for one more day. Tori teaches Keira how to be a princess and Keira teaches Tori how to be a pop star. Tori, under the disguise of Keira, gives autographs to people and enjoys it, but later learns about a drought that she should have been aware of. Meanwhile, Keira, under the disguise of Tori, learns to behave like a princess. She also learns a new song while playing with Tori’s younger sisters, who discover Keira’s true identity but promise to keep it secret. Later, Keira gets locked in Tori’s room by Tori’s aunt for not writing a commemoration speech, but Vanessa shows Keira a secret exit in the room through which she escapes. Meanwhile, Tori sings a song for the first time on stage.

Later, Crider and Rupert, Crider’s assistant, uproot the Diamond Gardenia. The fairies try to stop them, but their efforts are not enough, as Rupert sprayed strawberry-scented hairspray all around causing their wings to stick together. Tori and Keira use their respective magic tools to change back into their true selves. Both stop the two, with the unexpected help from Liam, and discover it is always best to be yourself. Crider tries to flee with the Gardenia using his airy coat but the girls imposed a heavy makeover on him using their respective magical tools, causing him to drop the plant and break it into pieces.

Using the diamonds of their friendship necklaces as seeds, Tori and Keira plant a new Diamond Gardenia to revitalize the dead plants in the kingdom. Tori, now confident about her life, finally gives her speech. The two go back to the concert and end the film both as entertainers and as best friends.

Barbie in the Pink Shoes Plot:

The film opens with Madame Natasha overseeing the dancers’s warm-up session, and critiquing the children’s number. Kristin and Hayley are backstage talking when Tara and Dillon perform their Pas de Deux. Kristin’s solo begins and she dances flawlessly, but soon the music overtakes her and she begins to improvise new choreography. Madame Natasha chastises her, causing Kristin to fall and rip her shoes, and warns her not to deviate when the international ballet scouts come. Kristin and Hayley leave to get a new pair of shoes, while Tara’s father tries to convince Madame to let his daughter have another solo - Kristin’s. But Madame tells him that his daughter already has enough solos and walks away.

Meanwhile, while looking for a new pair of shoes, Hayley can’t seem to find any Kristin’s size (which is five). But then, the costume mistress, Madame Katerina gives Kristin a pair of pink pointe shoes that overwhelm her. When she tries them on, she and Hayley are suddenly transported to a magical world, which turns out to be the ballet world of Giselle, where Kristin has transformed into Giselle. She starts to dance Giselle’s solo and dances beautifully. However, when Prince Albrecht asks her to marry him and is interrupted by Hilarion, Kristin rejects them both. Hayley reminds her of the tragic ending of the ballet, and suggests that they leave.

As they are about to leave, they are nearly run over by an icy sleigh ridden by the Snow Queen, who rules the ballet world. She demands to know why the dancers have deviated from the story, and where ‘Giselle’ is. Hilarion tries to cover for her, but the Queen turns to Giselle’s mother, Berthe. The Snow Queen knows when Berthe tries to lie to her and turns her into an ice-sculpture. Hilarion and Albrecht agree to work together to find Giselle. Meanwhile, Hayley has figured out that the shoes are behind everything and tries to convince Kristin to take them off. However, Kristin refuses and runs away. When Hayley catches up, she finds Kristin at a lake and that she has now transformed into Queen Odette.

Prince Siegfried happens upon them, and asks ‘Odette’ to dance, while Rothbart looks on. The Prince asks ‘Odette’ to come his party that night and she agrees. However, Rothbart wants his daughter, Odile to marry the Prince and turns Kristin and Hayley into swans to detain them. The Snow Queen arrives, approves of Rothbart’s plan and then leaves to continue looking for the source of the ballet disruptions. After a narrow encounter with Hilarion and Albrecht, Hayley and Kristin are able to fly away and arrive at the party, knowing that only Siegfried can break Rothbart’s spell. Kristin is able to interrupt the Prince’s dance with Odile, who has been disguised to look like ‘Odette’, and breaks the spell. Unfortunately the Snow Queen has caught up with them and takes Hayley captive as she ‘does not belong in the story.’

Distressed, and worried for her friend, Kristin follows the ice trail left by the Snow Queen’s sleigh, but breaks down and starts crying as she thinks that it is hopeless in finding Hayley. Hilarion and Albrecht catch up to her, and Kristin explains that her friend is missing. She asks them for help in taking on the Snow Queen and they set off. When they get to the Ice Palace, both men try to convince her of marriage again, but Kristin says she would never be happy if she doesn’t save Hayley. Hilarion and Albrecht decide to help her. Inside the palace, the Snow Queen is furious with Kristin, and proves her point by making Hayley dance the Chinese Doll dance from Coppelia, before turning her attention to Kristin and forcing her to dance as well.

Hilarion and Albrecht try to save Kristin, but are unable to overcome the Snow Queen’s powers. Luckily, Kristin’s passion for making up her own choreography allows her to break the Snow Queen’s control by herself. As she does so, she undergoes another transformation into a beautiful pink, rose decorated costume. Hayley un-freezes, and asks Kristin if she is finally ready to go home, to which Kristin says “yes” and takes off the pink shoes. As they return magically back in the costume shop, Madame Katerina comes in and reminds them that Kristin needs to be on stage in fifteen minutes. Tara gives her a pair of ballet shoes, and Hayley makes some last minute adjustments to the costume, while the talent scouts watch the other numbers.

Kristin comes on stage and begins her dance. As she modulates into her own choreography, her dress magically changes from blue and purple to glittery pink, and everyone agrees that her dance is amazing. The scouts want to feature Tara and Dillon in their company, and ask Kristin to star in a brand new ballet with Hayley as her costume designer. As the dancers leave, Madame Katerina, takes the pink shoes and carefully packs them away, smiling.

Barbie: Mariposa & the Fairy Princess Plot:

Mariposa and Willa went to see Queen Marabella, who sent Mariposa to the kingdom of Shimmervale to make peace with the Crystal Fairies. The Crystal Fairies and the Butterfly Fairies had been feuding with each other for centuries over misunderstandings, but Mariposa was not prejudiced. Even so, she was too unconfident to go, and had to be encouraged by Prince Carlos. Willa helped Mariposa to pack and Mariposa and her pet Zee went to Shimmervale.

When Mariposa arrived in Shimmervale, she was hesitantly greeted by Talayla, who was scared of Mariposa at first because of incorrect, frightening misconceptions about Butterfly Fairies. Talayla showed Mariposa around the kingdom once she was reassured that Mariposa wouldn’t hurt her. The other residents of the kingdom, however, hid from Mariposa, making her feel uncomfortable. The princess of the kingdom, Catania, greeted Mariposa, but her father King Regellius told Catania to stay away from the window.

Talayla showed Mariposa her guest room and then was formally introduced to King Regellius and Princess Catania. The king was unimpressed by Mariposa, and meanwhile in Flutterfield, Willa and Carlos were struggling while they took over Mariposa’s work as a royal historian. Mariposa and Zee were invited to tea with the king, Catania and her pet Anu, but Mariposa didn’t fit in and embarrassed herself.

In her dark lair, Gwyllion and her sidekick, Boris, perfected a magic spell that would change crystals into dark rocks. In the morning, Talayla invited Mariposa to meet the residents of Shimmervale, but they were all hiding. Carlos and Willa were still having trouble doing Mariposa’s job in Flutterfield.

The next day, Talayla told Mariposa about the Crystal Ball and gave her a dress to wear. Mariposa went to find King Regellius to ask if she could address the subjects and tell them that the Butterfly Fairies wanted to send their best wishes to the Crystal Fairies. King Regellius accepted but, after a mishappening, told Mariposa harshly that her large wings were a menace. Mariposa folded her wings down, and was told to keep them that way.

The Gwyllion found out about the Crystal Ball and told Boris they would be leaving for Shimmervale to attack that night. Mariposa and Catania found out they had things in common, so Mariposa suggested they go to the GlowWater Falls after Catania said she hadn’t been there in many years. They had an enjoyable time together, and Catania told Mariposa about her sad past; She revealed that, when she was eight years old, Gwyllion asked her father for one crystal. King Regellius refused so he wouldn’t run out of crystals for his subjects. Gwyllion wanted revenge, so she tried to kidnap Catania, but dropped the princess and broke her wings. Even after her wings healed, Catania had been too fearful to fly since the incident.

Catania gives Mariposa a crystal necklace and Mariposa gave Catania a Flutter Flower as gifts. They then went to the Crystal Ball and, because Mariposa’s wings were folded down, she couldn’t fly and socialise in the air. Instead, she danced on the ground with Catania and everyone began dancing and having fun. However, one fairy noticed the crystal necklace around Mariposa’s neck, and everyone assumed Mariposa had stolen it.

King Regellius banished Mariposa from Shimmervale, so she returned the crystal necklace and started going home. Catania was upset so she left with her pegasus Sophie, and Anu. As Mariposa was going back to Flutterfield, she saw Gwyllion, who used her magic staff to turn every crystal in Shimmervale to rock simultaneously. She then made every Crystal Fairies paralysed and tried to steal the Heartstone which would turn the kingdom to stone if tampered with. Mariposa tried to stop Gwyillion, but failed and was frozen. In the end, Catania gained the courage to fly and fight Gwyillion. Gwyillion’s staff ended up broke on the ground.

Although the Heartstone was blackened and hard, Catania noticed that the Flutter Flower was glowing. Mariposa and Catania held the Flutter Flower next to the Heartstone and every Crystallite was restored. Their appearances transformed and they go to see the king, who wanted to destroy Gwyllion. Catania told him that all Gwyllion had asked for was one Crytallite, and while her reaction to not getting one wasn’t justified, destroying her wouldn’t be either. They gave Gwyillion one Crystallite, and her personality and appearance became less harsh. She said that she had a lot of thinking to do and left in peace.

King Regellius made peace with the Butterfly Fairies and gave Queen Marabella a crystal necklace as a gift. At the Ball in Flutterfield, everyone had fun and danced together.

Barbie & Her Sisters in A Pony Tale Plot:

Barbie, Skipper, Stacie, and Chelsea drive to Aunt Marlene’s Alpine Academy in the Alps, Swiss for a month long horseback riding vacation. They are greeted by their cousins, Max and Marie, who present the sisters with a room. Barbie feels that her winning the Pacific Steeplechase, an event in the Inter-Academy Equestrian Tournament, will depend on her finding the right horse for her. She meets Etienne Cheynet, the riding master, and then gets to choose her own horse from the thoroughbreds in the stable. Barbie is joined by Marlene and reveals that she is not sure which horse to pick. Meanwhile, Stacie gets a horse that constantly humiliates her due to her pride, and Chelsea is matched with a horse named Dash.

The next day, Barbie goes riding with everyone and sees a horse, but it disappears. She sees the same horse in the academy logo and notices its unusual markings. Barbie finds Etienne singing to a horse to calm it. Etienne explains that the horses Barbie has seen are from a fable about an ancient herd called the Majestique, and that there is no proof they are real. Philippe Cheynet, the riding master of École Montagne and Etienne’s brother, interrupts them and says that the Majestiques don’t exist. However, he knows that the Majestiques are real and lies because his brother is present.

Barbie goes riding by herself and some wolves scare away her horse, Finian. She is saved from the wolves by the Majestique horse she had seen the day before, and it runs away. The following day, Barbie and Finian went riding again and found the Majestique horse with its leg stuck under a rock. To relax the horse, Barbie sings the song she heard Etienne singing and manages to move the rock. She uses her scarf as a bandage to tie around the horse’s bleeding leg and names her Majesty. Philippe later finds some of Majesty’s mane and sees Barbie nearby, so he follows her.

Barbie goes out alone and is able to ride Majesty, which Philippe witnesses. Majesty shows Barbie a herd of breed in the Valley of the Majestiques. Meanwhile, Marlene tells Skipper that she may have to sell the academy to Bridgette Cheynet, the mother of Etienne and Philippe and the owner of École Montagne, if they don’t win the tournament. Skipper finds Barbie with the Majestiques and encourages her big sister to run for Alpine in the tournament instead of Etienne, but Barbie is reluctant to run in the steeplechase on Majesty in case Philippe finds the Majestiques and hurts them.

On the opening day of the tournament, Alpine Academy and École Montagne are tied for first place. That night, there is a dance which everyone attends. While everyone is distracted, Philippe sneaks out and releases the Alpine Academy’s horses in order to sabotage them. Chelsea sneaks out to ride a big horse and attracts attention by screaming when she is overwhelmed. The horse she is on hurts Etienne’s arm so he can’t compete. Barbie searches for the horses with Skipper and Jonas, a boy from École Montagne. She realises that Majesty found the academy’s horses and led them away.

Barbie leads everyone to the Majestiques and they find the other horses. She tells Skipper and Jonas to keep them a secret and they start going back to the academy with the horses. On the way back, they encounter Philippe. Philippe excludes Jonas from École Montagne for helping Barbie to find the horses. Philippe tells Barbie that he knows the Majestiques are on Alpine land, and that the land and the horses will belong to École Montagne after the tournament. The only way to save the academy and the Majestiques would be to win the tournament, so Barbie competes instead of Etienne.

Barbie enters the tournament just in time and rides for Alpine on Majesty. Philippe plays dirty and cheats during the race by sabotaging other horses so that Marlene would have to sell Alpine and he could find the Majestique horse herd. He makes the saddle come off of Majesty when she catches up with her, causing Barbie to fall off. Barbie and Majesty continue the race without it and manage to win. The overall Tournament Cup goes to Alpine Academy. Bridgette congratulates Barbie and Barbie gets a photo of herself and her family with Majesty and the trophy. She thanks Marlene for letting her stay at the academy, and Marlene reveals that they have many people interested in the academy now. Barbie wants to take Majesty home with her, but sets her free to be with her herd because she loves her. Aunt Marlene tells Barbie that if she comes back Majesty will return.

Barbie: The Pearl Princess Plot:

The film opens with Lumina using her pearl magic to prepare a fake coronation held for seahorse friend Kuda. Lumina crowns Kuda as “Princess Kuda, Ruler of the Seven Seas.” Kuda then gives a pretend ball in honor of her coronation, in which she and Lumina dance.

Suddenly, Scylla comes and Lumina disbands the party and hides the pearls she used in the oysters she got them from. Unfortunately, one oyster snaps shut too quickly, leaving a pearl out. Lumina tries to put it back inside the oyster without Scylla noticing, but Scylla does notice. She scolds Lumina for using her pearl magic outside because “bad people” might look for her, but Lumina argues, asking who could find her, unaware that Scylla is afraid Caligo would find out about her.

In the cave, Lumina and Kuda continue their fake coronation by customizing their hairstyles to look like princesses. They wonder what would it be like if they were princesses and dream to see the castle. Scylla hears their conversation, and hides a bracelet with the royal crest on it in a drawer.

In the castle, Caligo pleads with King Nereus and Queen Lorelei to appear in public. Nereus starts to tell Caligo that he and his wife are still grieving over their lost daughter. Caligo says that they have to face the fact that without an heir, their kingdom will one day go to his son, Fergis. Lorelei concedes that Caligo is right, and they should name Fergis their heir. Caligo suggests they give a royal ball to find Fergis a wife, to which the king and queen agree.

Back at the cave, when Scylla is making a potion, an eel named Murray comes. He tells Scylla that Caligo wants her to poison the king at the royal ball. Scylla refuses, but Murray threatens to tell everyone she killed the princess. Scylla replies “if it’s poison Caligo wants, it’s poison he’ll get.” Murray takes this to mean she has agreed, and gives Scylla an invitation to the ball.

Lumina swims in and overhears Murray talk about the castle. Murray hears Lumina call Scylla “aunt,” and when Murray starts to ask for more information, Scylla throws him out.

Lumina’s excitement about the castle isn’t over. She asks Scylla to take her with her to the castle. Scylla says no, telling Lumina about “burning fire coral and vampire squid and poisonous stonefish” as dangers on the way.

Disappointed, Kuda and Lumina start playing tail tag. Kuda accidentally knocks a potion bottle off a shelf during the game. When Lumina goes to pick it up, she sees the invitation to the royal ball. She tries to give it to her aunt, but Scylla has already gone. Lumina sees this as an opportunity to go to the castle, and although Kuda reminds her of the threats Scylla told them about, Lumina pushes her to join her.

Lumina has noticed that every time Scylla goes to the city, she always comes from a shortcut, which then appears as a dead end. Her intuition takes lead, and not long after, she finds a passage through the skeleton of a big animal. While in the passage, Kuda accidentally breaks the structure and it collapses. They manage to escape, but the invitation is lost to a narwhal.

Back at the castle, Caligo and Fergis are arguing. Fergis doesn’t want to go to the ball since he wants to be a botanist rather than king, but Caligo tells him he is “going to be king and that’s the end of it,” after which Fergis leaves sadly for his waltz lessons.

Right after, Murray appears and informs Caligo that Scylla agreed to the plan. Caligo then reveals he plans to kill Scylla after the king dies of poisoning so he would be hailed as a national hero. However, Caligo has one concern: his son, who is not very eligible, will need to find a wife. Murray brings up Scylla’s niece as an option, which raises Caligo’s suspicions. Murray mentions the niece as “blonde, about seventeen years old” and that it is an “interesting coincidence.” Caligo asks Murray to bring the girl to him.

Lumina and Kuda, in the other side of the ocean, are lost in the middle of a kelp forest. Then they see the narwhal which took their invitation, only to lose it again. In desperation, Lumina sees light in the distance and rushes to it,believing it is the city, but it is actually a vampire squid lair. The narwhal goes in and most of the squid leave and chase it, after which Lumina and Kuda enter.

Once inside, they find a cute baby squid and admire it until the squid bites Kuda on the snout. Lumina manages to pull it off, but she falls onto a rock. When Kuda swims by the rock, it opens an eye. Kuda thus warns Lumina to move away from it, but Lumina doesn’t know why and accidentally slaps it with her tail, causing the “rock” to open its eyes and roar. It is revealed to be a stonefish.

The stonefish tries to scare Lumina and Kuda away by roaring and mentioning how poisonous his spikes are. Lumina uses her pearl powers to to put pearls on his spikes, and tells him that now no one will be scared of him. After more coaxing, the stonefish agrees to accompany them to the city and practice making friends with other fish. He introduces himself as Spike.

Back at Lumina’s home, Murray appears with his sidekicks, Garth and Wormwood. Upon reading a letter Lumina left for Scylla, Murray realizes she isn’t home, but roots through Scylla’s things anyway. He finds the bracelet Scylla hid earlier.

Back in the kelp forest, Lumina and Kuda are laughing at one of Spike’s jokes when Kuda is caught by snarly kelp. Lumina removes a pearl from one of Spike’s spikes, and he cuts the kelp with it, setting Kuda free. Kuda moans that she doesn’t think they will make it to the city, but Lumina shows her they are already there.

In the city, Spike starts hiding, but Lumina tells him he shouldn’t. Spike, afraid of being feared, comes out anyway, and a few merpeople compliment his pearls.

Then, Kuda sees Scylla in the distance. Lumina wants to explain that they were trying to bring her her invitation, but Kuda is worried and pulls Lumina into Salon La Mer to hide. There, Lumina is mistaken for a job applicant by Madame Ruckus. She is confused about what is happening around her, and when Kuda notices Scylla is passing by, she suggests disguising their hair. Lumina disguises herself by changing her hairstyle with her pearl magic. Madame Ruckus sees her talent and hires her, introducing her to the other two employees, Sandrine and Cora.

Lumina’s first customer asks for a certain hairstyle, but Lumina thinks of a style that would look better on her. She uses her pearl magic to style the customer’s hair. The customer loves the style and hugs Lumina. The next customer asks for the same style that the first one got, but when Lumina suggests something different just for her, she happily accepts.

Back at the castle, Caligo reminds the Trident Squad about the plan for the ball. After they leave, Scylla arrives. Caligo tells Scylla the plan and mentions that he knows she has a niece. Scylla angrily replies that she also has a goldfish, saying “What of it?” Caligo tells her to give them both his regards.

Meanwhile, Lumina’s second customer loves her new hairstyle. Sandrine, inspired by Lumina, decides to try something different as well, and Cora paints her customer’s nails with baby dolphins for the first time.

Murray returns from his trip and tells Caligo that nobody was home, but he shows Caligo the bracelet he found. Since the bracelet has the royal crest, Caligo knows that Scylla’s “niece” is actually the lost princess. He angrily tells Murray that they must get rid of her. He orders Murray to gather his cronies and find her.

Prince Delphin, who has just arrived in the city, has trouble finding directions on his map. He tries to ask Madame Ruckus for help, but she sees that he has caught one of her deliveries. She mistakenly thinks he wants to help her with them and gives him more to deliver. He takes them to Salon La Mer, where he meets Lumina. Their conversation is cut short when Dolphin hurries Delphin along. Caligo enters the salon with Fergis, where he asks Lumina to do Fergis’s hair. Fergis notices Cora and falls in love with her. After Lumina finishes Fergis’s hairstyle, she introduces him to Cora and they get along quite well.

Madame Ruckus comes to inform her employees that she got invitations to the royal ball for the whole staff. The salon staff all go shopping. Soon, everything is sold out and Cora has nothing to wear. Lumina gives Cora her outfit and buys some fabric to make a new outfit for herself.

At the ball, Fergis starts talking to Cora, but Caligo pulls him away, asking him why he isn’t dancing. When Fergis says no one will dance with him, Caligo notices a bad smell. Fergis says it’s coming from the Sulfur Lily he’s wearing, and Caligo pulls it off. Fergis then starts dancing with Cora, who says she thought his flower was beautiful.

Lumina bumps into Caligo, who welcomes her, thanking her for styling Fergis’s hair. Delphin comes by and asks her to dance. Lumina overhears Caligo call Delphin “prince,” and they chat while dancing. Meanwhile, Murray comes by and tells Caligo that every crawly creature is looking for a girl named Lumina, and Caligo asks Murray if the girl dancing with Delphin is the princess. Murray says she is.

After Lumina promises Delphin the next dance, Caligo suddenly joins in. When she tells him her aunt raised her, he takes her outside the castle, where Murray captures her in a sack. Kuda comes out and is able to evade Caligo, but she is kicked into another sack by Murray. Right after this, Caligo and Spike run into each other in the ballroom. After each unsuccessfully attempts to get out of the other’s way, Caligo shoves past Spike and Caligo’s tail knocks a pearl off of one of Spike’s spikes. When Caligo hears Spike grumble and say the word “poisoned,” he asks Spike what he knows about the poison. Spike says Caligo was almost caught by a poisonous spike.

The eels take Lumina and Kuda to the dungeon. Lumina uses her pearl powers to get the keys. She then throws pearls at each eel, tricking them into fighting. She ties the eels up and frees herself and Kuda.

Meanwhile, Scylla serves the royal party their nectar. Caligo becomes suspicious of his and starts to sniff it, believing his nectar has the poison rather than the king’s. He switches his nectar with Nereus’s, but Scylla does not react. Thinking he may have been wrong, Caligo switches them back. Scylla still does not react, and Caligo tries to figure out if his chalice or Nereus’s is poisoned.

Knowing Scylla is in trouble, Lumina rushes to the ballroom with Kuda, but they’re seen by Trident Squad guards, who chase after them. Scylla, meanwhile, overhear Nereus and Lorelei grieving over their lost daughter. After she hears the steward say something belongs to the king and queen and she shouldn’t hold onto things forever, Scylla is surprised. The steward was talking about the nectar, but Scylla realizes it’s also true about Lumina.

Scylla tries to grab Caligo’s nectar. She says she is done poisoning people, but Caligo realizes that he was right all along about his drink being poisoned. Scylla is unable to wrench the cup from Caligo’s grip. Caligo suddenly realizes that Scylla might still be tricking him and is again unsure about whose cup is poisoned.

The king and queen arrive, and Nereus gives a speech about presenting the Pearl of the Sea to Fergis. He does so, and prepares a toast. Just as he is about to drink, Caligo knocks Nereus’s cup over and offers his own. Scylla tries to stop Nereus from drinking but is blocked by a soldier. Luckily, Lumina arrives just in time and knocks the drink out of Nereus’s hand.

Despite his plan having been ruined, Caligo refuses to give up. He claims Lumina tried to attack Nereus and tells the guards to arrest her. Scylla tells everyone that Lumina saved the king and that she, Scylla, put poison in the cup. But before she can say Caligo forced her to do so, Caligo pushes her onto Spike’s bare spike. Being infected with stonefish venom, Scylla falls to the ground.

Lumina cradles Scylla in her arms, begging that she be okay. Scylla uses this moment to tell Lumina the truth: she took Lumina from her parents long ago to save her. After this, Scylla falls unconscious. Lumina asks Spike if there’s an antidote to his venom. He sorrowfully replies that he only knows of the sulfur lily, but it’s so rare that he’s never seen one. Cora asks Fergis if he knows the plant, but a glare from Caligo prompts Fergis to say no. With Cora’s little smile and gesture, Fergis then defied his father and gives Lumina the fallen sulfur lily Caligo pulled off of his outfit earlier.

With the plan about to be totally ruined, Caligo picks up the unconscious Scylla and orders the guards to grab Lumina. Madame Ruckus and Delphin stop the guards, whiles Lumina pursued him and used her pearls to lock the gate before Caligo can reach it. She then used all the pearls in the ballroom to trap Caligo and ensnare Scylla away from him. Lumina puts the sulfur lily petals in Scylla’s mouth, and she wakes up, cured.

Scylla finally reveals that Caligo is the one who ordered her to poison Nereus. Caligo tries to claim innocence, but Fergis backs Scylla up, shoving his mouth in the process with a plant he ruined from the earlier father-son argument.

Lorelei asks Lumina if she has always been able to use the pearl magic. Lumina says she has, and Lorelei reveals that she has the same powers. Nereus reveals that the magic is a royal gift. Scylla reveals that Lumina is the lost princess and tells the remaining part of the story: years ago, Caligo paid Scylla to kill the baby princess. She couldn’t do it, but instead, she kept the baby with her, and told Caligo she was dead. As the child grew, she could have given her back to her rightful parents, but she had become too attached.

Fergis gives the Pearl of the Sea back to Nereus, who then wears it on Lumina. The medallion glows and transforms Lumina’s tail, revealing her as the true heir. Lumina, Kuda and Scylla accept the castle as their new home. The royal ball continues, and Madame Ruckus throws Caligo out of the castle gates.

Barbie and the Secret Door Plot:

In order to encourage her, Alexa’s grandmother gives her a storybook about a princess who discovers she has magic. While reading the book, Alexa discovers a mysterious door in the royal gardens. She enters the door and finds herself in a fantasy land.

Their realm is under threat by the mean Princess Malucia, a spoiled child princess who was born without magic and has been taking it by force from all the creatures she can capture. Alexa is brought to the glade where fairies, mermaids and unicorns are hiding from Malucia. There, Alexa slowly learns to use her wand. However, she cannot return Nori and Romy to their original forms, because their magic is trapped in Malucia’s scepter.

The group learn that Malucia is trying to find the Queen Unicorn, who is the most magical creature in the realm. Alexa, Nori, and Romy travel to the Queen Unicorn, hoping to protect her, only to unintentionally lead Malucia and her minions right to her. Malucia captures the Queen Unicorn, while Nori and Romy provide a distraction so that Alexa can escape. While fleeing, Alexa discovers the doorway back to her world but decides to stay and help.

Alexa, Nori, and Romy go to Malucia’s palace, where they witness Malucia draining all the unicorns’ magic into her scepter. Alexa confronts Malucia, declaring that she is a princess, too, which provokes Malucia into a magical battle to “prove” who is the better princess. During the fight, Alexa realizes that Malucia’s scepter is cracking under its magical content. Alexa willingly lets Malucia steal all her magic, which causes Malucia’s scepter to explode, releasing all its magic. Malucia is harmless once again, and Alexa, who can now perform magic without a wand, returns all the magic to their rightful owners.

After promising to visit again soon, Alexa returns to her kingdom more confident, and more willing to participate in her princess duties. As for Malucia, her parents return from their holiday and scold her for trying to take over the kingdom again.

Barbie in Princess Power Plot:

When she finds the perfect spot in Windemere for her community garden project, Princess Kara gets into an accident while using a flying machine created by her friends, Madison and Makayla. Kara’s protective parents warn her that the kingdom is more dangerous than she realizes, a sentiment that is shared by their advisor, Baron von Ravendale. The Baron is considered their most wise and insightful advisor, so the king and queen trust him, but secretly he wants to take over the kingdom. He first aims to create an elixir to give him super powers, which will help him achieve his goal. But his pet frog Bruce accidentally knocks the elixir over, where it pours down a drain and spills on a caterpillar, which glows. The caterpillar climbs on a tree and creates a cocoon from which it emerges as a sparkly butterfly.

The Baron makes his frog Bruce track down ingredients for the potion while he does his usual activities. Kara herself gains super powers when she is kissed by a magical butterfly. She discovers her powers the next day, and she tells Madison and Makayla about it. Kara finds out that she can fly, has super strength, improved agility, and she realises that it was the butterfly who gave her powers. Madison and Makayla tell Kara she can only use her powers to help others, not for personal gain.

While Kara would like to start her community garden project, she knows her parents woul disprove. She assumes a superheroine alter-ego named Super Sparkle, and her friends design her a costume. At a construction site, Super Sparkle rescues her cousin Corinne, a construction worker, and reporter Wes Rivers from being hurt. She then realizes that she forget about a royal reception, and rushes back. The Baron sees Super Sparke in action and wonders how she got her powers, but focuses on getting the remaining ingredients that he needs.

Back in her bedroom, Kara tells Madison and Makayla that she could rescue people and capture criminals with her powers. They reveal that they have created a secret base to help her find emergencies. Kara prevents a robbery and the Baron finds the last ingredient for the elixir. Kara’s sisters Zooey and Gabby tell her that they would like to meet Super Sparkle, and suggest inviting her to Kara’s birthday party next week. Kara goes to save someone from a fire, and takes a photo with Wes, who has done a lot of reporting on her since she began being a superheroine.

On her birthday, Kara sees that she has many fansites and a tribute music video. At the party, Kara’s cousin Corinne says she thinks Super Sparkle is overrated, but the king and queen express gratitude towards Super Sparkle helping people in the kingdom. Kara leaves to stop another robbery, and Madison and Makayla distract her parents until she gets back. Without realizing, Kara drops her ring, which Madison and Makayla created to have superhero tools.

Corinne sees Super Sparkle change back to Kara, making her the only person besides Madison and Makayla to know Super Sparkle’s real identity. She overhears them say that the butterfly gave Kara powers, so Corinne tracks the butterfly down and receives a kiss. She gets super powers and creates a superheroine alter-ego named Dark Sparkle. Wes finds Kara’s ring, and the Baron finds his last ingredient. Super Sparkle and Dark Sparkle meet and become rivals.

Wes sees photos of Kara and Super Sparkle wearing the same ring, so he exposes her identity on his blog. Her parents forbid her from acting as Super Sparkle, and the Baron doubles the ingredients to intensify his potion’s powers. He says to Bruce that he will rid the realm of its King and put an end to Super Sparkle and Dark Sparkle. He drinks the elixir, finally gets super powers, and tries to attack the king. Corinne uses her powers to save him, so her family finds out she is Dark Sparkle.

Kara’s pets, Parker and Newton, try to help stop the Baron, and find the butterfly, so they get super powers too. The Baron tries to attack Kara’s family at a stronghold they are in for protection, but it can withstand any assault. He goes to Mount Dormant, a volcano, and causes lava to flow towards Windemere. Dark Sparkle helps Super Sparkle to divert the lava to a lake. Parker and Newton help Dark Sparkle and Super Sparkle to stop Bruce and the Baron, and imprison them in the stronghold. Kara and Corinne decide to work together to make Windemere a better place, and Kara begins her community garden.

Barbie in Rock’n Royals Plot:

On an island, there are two summer camps: Camp Royalty, for young royals; and Camp Pop, for young musicians. Princess Courtney accidentally goes to Camp Pop, and Erika Juno, a famous rock star, goes to Camp Royalty. Erika is heard singing by Lady Anne, the headmistress of Camp Royalty, and Lady Anne proposes a sing-off between the two camps to the head of Camp Pop, Finn Oxford. The losing camp would close for good, and the winning camp would gain their property. The judges for the sing-off were rock legend Allegra James, Prince Reginald of Thistlebrook, and Svetlana Petranova of Camp Arabesque.

The campers were unaware of the losing camp having to close until Erika overheard Lady Anne’s assistant, Clive, talking about it. Clive also said that he had bribed Svetlana to vote in favor of Camp Royalty. Being royalty himself, Prince Reginald would already be biased towards Camp Royalty, whereas Allegra would be biased towards Camp Pop as she is a musician.

Erika told Princess Courtney and the other campers that they could lose one camp, which made campers from both camps decide to perform together instead of competing. Allegra and Prince Reginald abstained from voting because of the change of circumstances, so Svetlana chose Camp Royalty as the winner. However, Finn and Lady Anne overrule the decision, having decided that rock and royalty can mix rather than oppose each other. They planned to merge the camp the following summer, and Erika and Princess Courtney formed a band with their friends called Rock ’n Royals.

Barbie & Her Sisters in The Great Puppy Adventure Plot:

Barbie and her sisters went to stay in Willows for a fortnight because they were starting summer vacation. Barbie drove them there in their pink camper. Being the youngest, Chelsea didn’t remember Willows, but Barbie remembered it well. She looked forward to spending time with Grandma Roberts, who they were staying with, and going to Willowfest with her childhood friend Christie.

Grandma Roberts’ dog Tiffany had given birth to four puppies, who can speak to each other, but humans just hear barks. The puppies each gravitated towards a certain sister; Chelsea named her puppy Honey, Stacie named her puppy Rookie, Skipper named her puppy DJ, and Barbie named her puppy Taffy.

The sisters went upstairs to their old rooms, which had the same beds and photos. There were no photos or bed for Chelsea because she slept in a crib. Chelsea was going to sleep in Skipper and Stacie’s old room. They all went to the attic to see if they could find anything of Chelsea’s. Chelsea found a cradle for the puppies. Skipper found a treasure map.

Grandma said that the treasure was buried by the town’s founders for a time of need so that Willows would always prosper. Barbie’s sisters wanted to go on a treasure hunt, but Barbie wanted to spend time with Christie. Skipper took photos of the map on her tablet, and they began searching for the treasure the next day.

Barbie met Christie at Willowfest. They wanted to go on their old favorite ride, the Storminator, but it was shut down. Joe and Marty heard Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea talking about treasure, and decided to follow them so they could find the treasure and have it for themselves.

Grandma said the search begins where the town began, leading Skipper and her sisters to the town hall. They met Mayor Jenkins there, who almost tripped on a broken step because many things in the town were in disrepair. At the city hall, they see a plaque with the Willows emblem that said “Let the willows be your guide.”

The puppies asked a dog named Jack for help. He wanted to sleep, but he touched another plaque to make a secret panel in the ceiling of the city hall’s porch appear. The panel said, “We came from afar to this great land Carrying the future in the palm of our hand.” Skipper used her tablet to find a photo of the founding fathers, and one of them was holding a vase with a twig in it. The twig was from the first willow tree, so they asked the mayor to show them the vase. There was a willow tree charm in a secret compartment on the bottom of the vase, so Stacie put it on a necklace in case they needed it later. A mirrored message on the vase read, “What runs for miles and never gets tired?”

Barbie found out that Christie had to move away because her parents couldn’t afford to live in Willows anymore. She told Grandma over dinner that there weren’t as many rides at Willowfest as she remembered, and Grandma responded that Willowfest had gotten small over the years. Mayor Jenkins had considered cancelling it. After dinner, Grandma showed her granddaughters some home movies. Chelsea was a baby in them, and all of the sisters were in the movies with Christie.

The next day, Barbie went out with Taffy to relive good memories. The younger sisters and their puppies went to solve the latest riddle and figured out that the answer was Lake Willows. From the ferris wheel at Willowfest, Joe and Marty noticed the girls at the lake and decided to follow them so they could begin finding the treasure for themselves.

At the water fountain, there was a plaque that said: “Where the water flows, the willow grows.” There was another plaque they couldn’t reach, so Stacie used a coin from the fountain to hit the emblem on it. It made a door open at the bottom of the fountain. The next clue said, “Slowly progressing like a midday chime. The growth of a tree is a reflection of time”. The clock tower was reflected in the fountain and it was almost noon, so they went to the clock tower. Joe and Marty followed.

The town clock is like a music box. Little wooden animals and people popped out of its front doors at noon. The clock chimed and played a song. The girls stayed for hours but couldn’t figure out the next clue. They returned to the clock tower every day, and so did Joe and Marty, but no one could figure it out. One day, Stacie figured out that the chiming bells play a song. Skipper played the song on her tablet. The lyrics were the next clue: “Everything you need. Lies beneath the willow tree.” They went to the first willow tree and the puppies dug. While the girls were distracted, Joe and Marty took Skipper’s backpack and her tablet, which she had documented their findings on.

Barbie noticed that almost everything in Willows was closed or needed repairs. The next day, she joined the treasure hunt. Skipper’s tablet was gone, but they still had the original map and the willow tree charm on Stacie’s necklace.

There were song lyrics on the map. Barbie read the second verse: “Meet me there at three. By the shady willow tree.” At three o’clock, they stood in the shadow of the town’s first willow tree. The sun shone off the clock tower and cast a sunbeam on the grass, so the puppies dug and found another plaque with the Willows emblem. The plaque was mixed up like a puzzle, but Chelsea solved it. The ground rumbled and suddenly a tunnel opened in front of them.

They went into the tunnel and ended up in a giant cave. They crossed a rickety rope bridge and on the other side, there was a steep cliff. Joe and Marty had caught up with them, so there was no time to use the elevator. Barbie and her sisters used harnesses to jump off the edge of the cliff. They reached the bottom of the cave to be met with another plaque on the cave wall. Stacie pressed it and a wall shook, then revealed an underground lake.

At the shore, there was a locked door to a giant vault. They used the willow tree charm as the key to the lock, and the door opened. The room was filled with treasure, but Joe and Marty tried to take it. While collecting treasure, Joe touched a gold plaque set in the ground, so there was a rockslide and then they were all trapped inside the vault.

Taffy got separated from everyone so, from outside, she touched a Willows emblem and unlocked the door. The puppies tied up Joe and Marty, and the girls met with Grandma and the police outside the cave. Joe and Marty were taken to jail, and the girls donated the treasure to the city. They had some treasure as a reward, but the donation saved the city. Christie’s family was able to stay in Willows because her father got a new job; the stores reopened; and the stairs on the town hall were repaired.

The sisters celebrated at Willowfest, and when they were ready to go home, they took the puppies with them. Tiffany said she would visit whenever Grandma Roberts could. With their reward treasure, the girls created a new treasure hunt by hiding the treasure and making a new map to give the townspeople something to believe in.

Barbie Dolphin Magic Plot:

The film begins with dolphins swimming happily with a mermaid named Isla. Upon noticing a ship, the dolphins and Isla swim away leaving the green dolphin who had no idea who or what was in that ship. He swam to the surface unaware of the fishermen in the boat who haven’t seen one like it before. Having in mind about the wealth they will make should they bring it ashore for people to view/buy, they dipped their nets into the sea. One of the dolphins told the green dolphin to swim along with them, but he was too late did he gain that he got caught in the net. Then the fishermen pulled the net up to the surface and continued their journey. The mark on the gemstone dolphin disappeared from his side and so are the other dolphins. Isla came to the surface in time just before the boat went out of sight, looking dejected and downhearted, to see one of the dolphins out of reach. Isla then vowed to find Emerald no matter what (as the name of the outgoing dolphin was revealed when she saw him off) and told the dolphins to stay at a place where they won’t be caught. Though they agreed, their sad and sober faces explain their real feelings.

A little bit far off ashore, Barbie and her sisters, Skipper, Stacie, and Chelsea arrive at a tropical resort with their luggage and their puppies: DJ, Rookie, Honey, and Taffy to see and experience another dimension of tropical life.

Barbie, with her sister, Skipper, her dogs, and her “friend” Ken, go on a boat ride to explore the island so that Skipper can enter her blog into a photo contest. She takes a picture of a weird creature, unsure that it is the mermaid, Isla, swimming to find the green dolphin, Emerald.

Back at the cabana, Chelsea and Stacie are relaxing due to Stacie’s broken leg. She finds a solution to explore the island by scooter. Chelsea follows behind, leaving her beloved floatie in the dust.

Unable to get Emerald out of captivity, Isla tries to figure out another way but is scared away by Ken’s boat. On the boat, Barbie asks where they are. Ken answers that it is the research facility where he works. On the other side of the research facility, Chelsea and Stacie encounter Emerald, the green dolphin.

As Barbie, Ken, Stacie, and the dogs come upon the other two sisters, asking why they are there. Chelsea ignores the question and instead points to the dolphin.

Amazed by their discovery, Barbie starts a conversation with the dolphin.
