General description

This code is used to identify matched controls, as required to test an implementation of the RISH harmonization method described in Karayumak et al., 2019. We use data from the SPINS study, and match 5 target sites (CMP, MRC, MRP, ZHH, ZHP) to the reference site (CMH).

In all cases, we aim to identify the gold-standard of n=20 matched ‘healthy control’ participants (or at least, the recommended n=16-18), on the basis of sex, age,IQ (here, established by WTAR), and handedness.

Special notes

We could not match on the basis of handedness (established by EHI ≥ .5), due to sample characteristics.

Because only 9 female HC subjects we available, we matched on the basis of 9 female and 11 male subjects.
