About the App

This app is a Text Predictor App much like your keyboard prediction. It will suggest the next word you most likely will use according towhat you typed.

Instructions to use

Enter a word or phrase on the left of the shiny app and the predicted word will show at the left. Voila!

How it was built

  1. This app used the dataset from various blogs, news sites and twitter.
  2. It then used corpus to clean the dataset (turn into lowercase, remove punctuation marks, etc.)
  3. After, ngrams were built, particularly bigrams and trigrams.
  4. The bigrams and trigrams were then sorted by frequency to help predict the next word.
