Rules

Choosing Picks:

  1. Every week, each member picks one team to win and one team to lose their game.

  2. Picks must be submitted by 5:00PM on Thursday of each week.
      1. If picks not submitted by the above time, both picks will be recorded as ‘N/A’ for that week and marked as incorrect.

      1. Submit only one form per week.
      1. Use the same link every week.

  5. Teams must be selected from different games.
      1. Ex. Week 1: Patriots vs. Texans.
      • Can:
      • Choose either the Patriots to win or lose or the Texans to win or lose.
      • Cannot:
      • Choose the Patriots to win and the Texans to lose or vice versa in week 1.
      • Choose the Patriots to win and the Patriots to lose in week 1.
      • Choose the Texans to win and the Texans to lose in week 1.

  6. Once a team is selected as a ‘Winner,’ they cannot be chosen as a ‘Winner’ again.

  7. Once a team is selected as a ‘Loser,’ they cannot be chosen as a ‘Loser’ again.

  8. A team can be selected as a ‘Winner’ and a ‘Loser’ just not in the same week (see rule 5).

  9. An updated spreadsheet will be distributed each week with updated results/standings.

  10. In the event of a tie, whether you had a team picked to win or lose, the pick is incorrect.

Winner and Wages:

  1. Member with the most number of correct picks is the winner.
      1. Correct pick means that the team was correctly selected to win or lose their game that week.
  2. League ends at the End of the NFL Regular Season.
      1. Tiebreaker only occurs if necessary.

  3. Each members pays a $5 entrance fee before the start of the season that goes into the pot.

  4. Each member pays $1 into the pot for every incorrect pick which will be collected at the conclusion of the league.

  5. The entire pot is paid out at the end of the season. Second Place recieves $40. Winner receives the remainder of the pot.

Tiebreaker:

  1. In the event that two or more members have the same number of correct picks at the end of the regular season, they will go to a tiebreaker.
      1. ‘Winner’ picks reset for the Tiebreaker.
      1. Each member will select the winners for the Round 1 Playoff games (4 total picks).
      1. Member with the most number of correct picks wins.
      1. If still tied, process repeats for Round 2 Playoff games.
      1. If still tied, process repeats for Round 3 Playoff games (2 total picks).
      1. If still tied, members select winner of the Super Bowl and the total number of points scored in the games (pts scored by both teams combined).
      1. If both members select correct Super Bowl Champion, member with the closest predicted total points to the actual total points without going over the actual total points wins.
