Almost all commodities in the IMF database are graphed. In certain cases where the IMF publishes prices of the same commodity that differ only by an arbitrage (i.e. Brent oil vs. Dubai oil) I only used one.
The data is from Jan 1980 till the most recent full month.
The x-axis is the deflated 2014-basis price of the commodity. All prices are adjusted by the US CPI and the value of the $US.
The Y-axis is the forward 10-year change in the adjusted (real) price of the commodity.
The red line is the end-of-last-month price. The user should note the Y-level where it intersects the data.
