Crime Prediction in Malaysia(BEWARE)

PROBLEM STATEMENT

There are many different types of crimes that are occurring around the country. The public doesn't know which type of crime that will occur often. Through this project, we tend to enable the public to have awareness and they can protect themselves or prevent the crime from happening.

OBJECTIVE

• To give awareness to the public regarding crime.
• To predict the type of crime that has the highest number of occurring

• We ask question regarding about the data and what answer will the data provide
• Data was acquire from data.gov.my (a free data website)
• After acquiring the data, the raw data was clean as it contain some null values
• After the cleaning process, we use analyse the data and use it to create our app.
• We use the data to calculate the violent crime and property crime rate in Malaysia.
• The data presented with visualize tools through data story telling poster.
