“#The10YearsChallange”

It is everywhere, your friends, family , favourite superstars, nearly everyone you know has taken this challange, it spread like a wildfire around social media, yes, it is the #10yearsChallange. Where people shared their photos comparing the changes they have gone through in the past 10 years, and to point it out, most of the changes were tremendous and unexpected, most of they made us think, how much the wold around us has changed and various interpretations for the same also arose, people shared memes and some made their own version of it, like the media company Vox, shared an article of the 10 years challange for humanity. Being inspired from it, an idea of comparing out country came to mind. [All the data has been downloaded from gapminder organisation and worldbank]

We have come a long way in the past 10 years.

Here are the basic topics that we will cover in this article for comparision.

The Annual population growth rate (2007-2017) for India.

-The rate at which the population was growing was increasing has decreased a lot, which is a great accomplishment.

Total(estimated) number of murders.

-Have stayed more or less around the same though.

Forest Percentage Coverage.

{Percentage of total land that has been covered with forests that year}

-As opposed to the common conception that forest area is decresing day by day, the data shows that it has increased overall, again a huge success to India for having accomplished this.

Child Mortality

{Death of children per 1000 live births,For such an important topic we will compare #20years}

-The child mortality was at an all time low in the past 20 years, another great accomplishment for various schemes and policies, whose change we might not notics and such things might not make breaking news, but affects a lot, still we have to make this 0 in the upcoming decade and looking at the progress, we sure will.
