Undergraduate advising loads
Faculty workload per advisee likely differs between major and between types of students advised. Term enrolled students in the major, tend to take the most effort in comparison to minor students and students that are not term enrolled. Below is a chart of median per faculty advising load by program or department for term enrolled students in major. I used median to mitigate the effects of potential special advising compensation contracts with department chairs or other faculty. Technology is somewhat of an odd outlier in that their department chair advises 279 students, one faculty advises 99 students, and one faculty advises 1 student.
Below is a table listing the number of faculty advising in each department or program and the median advisees per faculty by department including non-enrolled students, minors, and total students.
