Effect of City on COD

Contrary to the populistic view that people in Metros prefer electronic payment, it is seen from the data that Metro cities are more inclined towards COD.
This could be attributed to the increased liquidity of money in the Metro cities.

GlMulti is a library which has been used to arrive upon the best fir model from across all given attributes. It is better than step function as it inherently takes into consideration pair wise interactions.

Insights from the Model
- The variable under study here - COD - turns out to be significant. COD mode of payment increases the final transaction value by ~ Rs.50
- Upon further study, no interactions turned out to be significant
- Discounts understandably reduced transaction value - vendor discount on average by Rs.45 and website discount by Rs.25
- Also, interestingly, when gifting (based on AddressSame), the final transaction value goes down by Rs.20!!
- Among the colors, the relatively popular ones (and thei premiums) include Tan (Rs.1,021), Silver (Rs.880) and Lavender (Rs. 1,586)
- There are 2 different size conventions - one coded on the actual size (30,32,34…) and another on relative ones (S, M, L, XL…). And among these, there is very little difference between their prices - a testament to mass production!
- Coming to the brands, Mr. Button commands a premium of Rs.895 and the cheapest is The Vanca whose final transaction value is lesser by Rs.395
- Quite intuitively, the costlier sub categories include Casual Jackets (Rs.1,256), Jackets & Blazers (Rs.3,038), Suits (Rs.1,286) and Tracksuits (Rs.3,219)
- And the cheaper sub categories - Scarves (cheaper by Rs.315), Stockings (by 647) and V-neck t-shirts by Rs.132
