Introduction

Personality represents relatively consistent patterns of thinking, emotions and behavior that are typical for an individual.

Currently, there are multiple models of personality:

• Big Five
• Hexaco
• Dark Triad
• …

Dark Triad model comprises Machiavellianism, psychopathy and narcissism as malevolent personality traits.

• this brief presentation represents a glance at the relationship between Machiavellianism and psychopathy.

Relationship between Machiavellianism and psychopathy

Conclusion

As it can be noticed from the previous graph, the relationship between psychopathy and Machiavellianism clearly exists, with more exaggerated psychopathic tendencies being related to more Machiavellian worldview.
