Goal

To show AML patients vital signgs and lab results change over treatment course:

  • Patient measurements change over time
  • Variation of same measument among patients
  • Pattern of change over treatment course by patients/measurements

Challenges

A couple of challenges we are facing:

  • Complex: more than 10 measurements for labs and vitals
  • Scale: dramatically difference among measurements
  • Cluster: repeated measurements over the treatments

Our AML patients,for example, have measurements from Labs and vitals on different day:

Solution: Grouping similar scales:

We can group similar scales into one group and plot those graphs seprately.

To outcome scales squeeze issue, We could also standadizes cale using Z-score and present them in different panels for each of the patient:

Antoerh way to Keep each measurement in its original scale is to overlay patients measurements within same panel.
