In this graph I want to compare how MPG has changed since the Oil shortage of the late 2000’s. I theorize that car manufactures began to report higher MPG even though little had actually changed in the size of the engine. For this example we will be looking only at Honda and Toyota 4 Cylinder Car models.
For this graph I wanted to see how Ford’s Ranger Pickup trucks did with a high city driving percent (80%). I have long wanted a pickup truck, due to my height of over 6’3" but as of yet have not made the switch as the MPG is far below what I consider an exceptable range.
For this graph I wanted to see how bad the MPG are on a super car. I choose Ferrari as Ferris Bueller has always made me want to drive one.
While it has long been established that a Hybrid car will get you more MPG, what about a 6 cylinder Hybrid? How much do those extra 2 cylinders hurt your MPG?
For years Ford and GMC have claimed to have the best Pickup Truck on the market. With Ford going so far as to claim to have the best selling pickup car in America. HOwever, in terms of MPG are these claims true?
