Fluent Forever app demo installation guide

Because the Fluent app demo is for backers only, it’s not available from the regular App Store. Instead, you can download it from HockeyApp.

One to two weeks after backing on Indiegogo, you should have received an email with instructions on how to make your app.fluent-forever.com portal account. This account must be set up in order to get a demo invite. The email included your unique 12-digit access code for setting up the account.

If it hasn’t been at least 10 days since you backed Fluent Forever, you probably have not yet received the email for setting up the portal account. We process pledges from new backers every week or two and then send out the backer codes. We’ll send yours out as fast as we can.

We are sending invites to the email addresses associated with those accounts. If you can’t find this access code, search your entire email account, including spam, for app.fluent-forever.com. If the email doesn’t turn up, contact us and we can re-send it.

How do I install HockeyApp on my iOS mobile device?

Here is a complete list of steps for installing and downloading the demo on your iphone:

Using your smart phone, create an account on HockeyApp
Download and configure HockeyApp
Install the Fluent App Demo
Update your device settings to “trust” this App
Enjoy the demo and give feedback as you try it out!

To get started, open the invitation

Using your iPhone, open your email invitation from HockeyApp. The email might be in your notifications folder or spam folder.
In the Invitation email, select the button Show Invitation.
On the Invite screen, either select the button Create New Account or select a social media/online account icon to sign in using one of your existing accounts.

Using your smart phone, create an account

To register/create a new account on the SIGN UP screen, you need to

Enter  your  name.

Enter  a  valid  email  address. (This  will  be  become  your  login.)

Create  a  new  password  with  at  least  eight  characters. (Make  note  of  it.)

Check  the  “I’m  not  a  robot”  box  from  reCAPTCHA.

Select  the  button  Register.

Download and configure HockeyApp

Next, check the email app on your iPhone for a new email from HockeyApp. You may have to wait until a new version of it is ready. When you receive the email, open it and select the button Download & Install.

The Device screen will appear. Select the button Install.
If the Enter Passcode screen appears, enter the passcode that you use to unlock your iPhone. The passcode is neither seen by nor sent to HockeyApp. It is used only by the Settings app on your phone.
In the Ignore/Allow pop-up window, select the option Allow to open your Settings.
On the Install Profile screen, select the option Install at upper right.
On the Installing Profile screen, select the large button Install button at the bottom.
On the Profile Installed screen, select the option Done.
If the Device screen appears again, select the button Refresh.

Install the Fluent App Demo

The Dashboard screen should appear. On it, select Fluent Mokriya Builds Beta.

On the App screen, select the Install button.
On the Cancel/Install pop-up box, select Install.
The app is now being installed. In the meantime, when you see this App screen with the blue text, select the round Home button at the bottom of your phone.
Find the Homescreen that shows the Fluent app demo downloading. If it says “Waiting…” or “Installing…” underneath, please wait a moment for installation to finish.

Update your device settings to “trust” this App

Before using the app, you’ll need to modify your settings, so select the icon for Settings. Note: If you select the Fluent icon on the Home screen before updating your settings, you will see a standard pop-up warning about installing “untrusted” apps. On the pop-up, select Cancel to return to the Home screen.

You need to confirm that you want to install this app. From the Home screen, select the icon Settings.
After you select Settings, your phone should go directly to the screen Profiles and Device Management or Device Management. There, select Mokriya L.L.C. If your phone does not go from Settings directly to the Profiles and Device Management screen, you can navigate there in just a few steps.

Where do I find the Settings to “trust” Mokriya L.L.C.?

First, on your Home screen, select the icon Settings.
On the Settings screen, scroll down and select General.
From the General settings screen, scroll down and select Device Management or Profiles & Device Management.
Under ENTERPRISE APP, select Mokriya L.L.C.
Next, confirm that you want to run the app. On the screen Mokriya L.L.C., select Trust “Mokriya L.L.C.”. (Mokriya is the developer of the Fluent app.)
Finally, on the Cancel/Trust pop-up, confirm once again that you want to install the app by selecting the option Trust.
