When you save the notebook, an HTML file containing the code and output will be saved alongside it (click the Preview button or press Ctrl+Shift+K to preview the HTML file).

The preview shows you a rendered HTML copy of the contents of the editor. Consequently, unlike Knit, Preview does not run any R code chunks. Instead, the output of the chunk when it was last run in the editor is displayed.

Including Plots

You can also embed plots, for example:

Note that the document now includes the code used to generate the plot along with the plot itself.

Note that the echo = FALSE parameter can be added to the code chunk to prevent printing of the R code that generated the plot.

Including LaTex

LaTex is a mathtype text editing language that allows for clean looking mathematical functions. It is the industry standard in Academia.
