Sommelier: The Wine Quality Predictor

• All wines are not alike. They differ according to many features. I developed an app called the “Sommelier: The Wine Quality Predictor” in order to both predict the quality of wine on the basis of its ingredients and from the perspective of the user, to learn what ratios and proportions of different ingredients go into good wine.

• This is a great tool for the wine enthusiast who aspires to achieve greater expertise

• It is also just fun. You can see how hard it can be to make good wine.

• The data can be found at the UIC Machine Learning Repository at https://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/machine-learning-databases/wine-quality/.

Wine quality will depend on the combination of 12 inputs including:

• Kind of Wine (Red or White)
• Acidity
• Citric Acid
• Residual Sugar
• Chlorides
• Sulfur Dioxide
• Density
• pH
• Sulphate Level
• Alcohol Level
