This one day introductory course is designed to introduce participants to the power of data visualisation using a range of graphical techniques, software tools and data sources.

Who is the course aimed at?

The course is suitable for individuals involved in the collection, analysis or interpretation of data. It is not necessary to have a technical background in data analysis to benefit from this course but it is helpful to have some basic Excel experience and an interest in discovering insights from data.

Course Content

The course will outline techniques suitable for exploring relationships in data, visualising tabular data and techniques for mapping data. The course will also include a brief introduction to a number of visualisation libraries. The full course schedule is listed below.
