The world is currently in the midst of a refugee crisis. There were 60 million refugees globally as of the end of 2016. Many different conflicts such as war and civil war, human rights violations, environment and climate, economic hardship, and political responses have left those people without homes or flee from their countries. The crisis has affected countries around the world with the overwhelming numbers of refugees.

Syria’s civil war has been one of the largest drivers of the global refugee crisis, which has left millions of people displaced. While Turkey is the largest host country of registered Syrian refugees.
