Final Project Proposal:
I lived in Sunrise city, in South East Florida and graduated from FAU in Boca Raton with my BSCE. Hockey wasn’t my preferred game, but I had the chance to play it with friends and watch national games associated with National Hockey Leagues (NHL). Panthers, Florida hockey team, had BB&T Center as their indoor arena in Sunrise. I lived 5-10 mins away from that arena. I was invited to watch one of the Panthers’ games in there. Plus, I played the street hockey with my friends. I will be using NHL statistic datasets of all the hockey teams in the US. The object is to build a model that uses these datasets to train and to test that model in order to make predictions on total points of a team and to evaluate of what it will take to be at the top ranks.
