Map using cb=TRUE vs. Map using cb=FALSE

“Cb” stands for cartographic boundary shapefiles. When cb is set to true, boundary lines are much more precise, hence the spaces near the upper mid-east region of the map where the Great Lakes are accounted for. The map using cb=FALSE has fewer details. This is the most obvious difference visually. I generated the following two maps to demonstrate these differences more clearly. The first map is with “cb=TRUE” and the second is with “cb=FALSE”.
