Abstract:

We have a research hypothesis around correlation between extraversion/introversion of students and leadership effectiveness. For Extraversion and Introversion I have asked students to do a Myers Briggs test and insert it into PaLDIP. There are other types of activities that are peer-assessed that reflect the individual’s “leadership effectiveness” based on how their perform in the activity and the average score they receive from peers. We also like to investigate the “attitude” of our students by doing some natural language processing/text mining and also metacognitive analysis (something Nazim started looking at last year when I was doing some research with him but we had only scratched the surface then). We may categorise the language used in the reflections of students to positive, neutral or negative. We will explore whether attitude correlates with leadership effectiveness

1 Introduction

goes here.

1.1 Research background

We have a research hypothesis around correlation between extraversion/introversion of students and leadership effectiveness.1.

1.2 Research questions

Finally, briefly outline what is contained in the rest of the report.Create four sections in the body of the report: Data, Methods, Analysis and Results. In some situations it may be preferable to combine the Methods section with the Analysis section. If your report contains more than one set of data with independent analysis, repeat these four sections as often as needed.

You may want to include references such as (Paya 2018) or (Murtonen, Gruber, and Lehtinen 2017). They will be referenced correctly if the reference file mentioned in the YAML intro is in the working directory.

2 Method & design

For Extraversion and Introversion I have asked students to do a Myers Briggs test and insert it into PaLDIP. There are other types of activities that are peer-assessed that reflect the individual’s “leadership effectiveness” based on how their perform in the activity and the average score they receive from peers.

3 Analysis

3.1 Influence of intro- and extravsion on leadership effectiveness

Write down your analysis of the data in the Analysis section. Include in this section what was analyzed and the conclusions you made from the analysis. Insert any charts you created from the data in this section.

This is also the place to check if the results from the analysis are conclusive: can counterarguments be refuted?

3.2 Results from text mining

We also like to investigate the “attitude” of our students by doing some natural language processing/text mining and also metacognitive analysis (something Nazim started looking at last year when I was doing some research with him but we had only scratched the surface then). We may categorise the language used in the reflections of students to positive, neutral or negative. We will explore whether attitude correlates with leadership effectiveness

5 Appendices

If you have hundreds of pages of data, it may be preferable to put it in the appendix rather than in the Data section of the report. Insert any secondary data mentioned in the report in the Appendix, including a reference indicating where the data came from.

5.1 Appendix I: Environment

For the purpose of reproducible analysis, is is always a good idea to describe the computational environment used for the analysis. This is supported by an R command:
