Here are two twitter polls:

The First: https://twitter.com/INCIndia/status/978139261768687616 The second: https://twitter.com/INCIndia/status/978858561253117953

The congress Party is upbeat with the results of the second poll. There are a whole lot of videos on the topic that one can google.

But it is interesting to see; ##Whether the second poll really a win for the congress party? Let’s examine:

The First Poll:

options_poll_1<-c(rep("Not_Failure_Of_Sushma",25748),rep("Yes_A_Failure_Of_Sushma",8131))
votes_polled_1st_time<-c(rep(1,25748),rep(2,8131))
poll_1<-data.frame(options_poll_1,votes_polled_1st_time)
t1<-table(poll_1$votes_polled_1st_time,poll_1$options_poll_1)
t1
##
## Not_Failure_Of_Sushma Yes_A_Failure_Of_Sushma
## 1 25748 0
## 2 0 8131
barplot(t1,col = c("orange","Green"),main = "First Twitter Poll",ylab = "Number of Votes")

The Second Poll:

Total nuber of votes polles are substantially low. There is no option for the opponents. In order to compare the two opponent vote figure is compared with the first poll.

##
## Not_Failure_Of_Sushma (Poll-1)
## 1 25748
## 2 0
## 3 0
##
## Yes_A_Failure (Both Options in Poll-2 Added)
## 1 0
## 2 6508
## 3 4910

Clearly the second poll is no victory for the congress party. With no option to the opponent voice and the significant drop in total number of votes, the second poll seems to be just a cover-up exercise. The media headlines have failed to read the results properly and are misleading.
