Introduction

The correlation plotter tool allows user to select two predictor variables from MTcars datasetand analyse the correlation between these predictors. A scatter plot for the two predictors is drawn. A linear regression line is also drawn on top of the plot to understand the correlation between the selected predictors.

User also has an option to display the confidence intervals in gray color. Users have several options to change the predictors or other parameters which are explained below. At the bottom of the plot, some statistical values for the plot are displayed.

  • Intercept
  • P Value
  • Adjusted R squared value

Interactive Parameters

User can adjust following parameters to analyze the MTCars dataset.

  • Predictor 1: Select predictor for X axis
  • Predictor 2: Select predictor for Y axis
  • Display Confidence Intervals: Allows to show or hide the confidence intervals
  • Line COlor: Color of regression line
  • Dot Color: Color of scatter plot dots
  • Dot Shape: Shape of scatter plot dots. 25 default shapes available.
  • Dot Size: Size of scatter plot dots
