Objective:

Recently there is heat debate between US and China for increasing import and export tax. I want find the trend of US international trade statistics and also how is it different by country. If possible I want to find the realtion betwwen trade statis and tax. I will create a R shiny app that will show the us import and export trend and also let user to pick specicfic country to see the trend by country.

I will use us international trade data from census. Specificly I will use Exhibit 1- U.S. International Trade in Goods and Services and Exhibit 19- U.S. Trade in Goods by Selected Countries and Areas - Census Basis. There are PDF and Excel version and I will use Excel verson.

Data Clean:

The excel version od the data source also has PDF layout, I will clean the data and change the format to fit the app

Visualiztion:

I will use chart veiw and table to give user comprehensive view.

Goal:

With this app, I want help user to estimate the affact of tax on US import and export revenue so that they can see how much impact can recent trade conflict betwwen U.S and China make.
