Part I

  • Initial client question: "In a linear regression, when the coefficient is X, what does it mean?"
  • Study project research question: ???
  • Data collected: ???
  • Relevant practical problems: Some missing data.
  • Advice: Deletion was recommended as the "simplest" form to solve missing data. We shared the basics of linear regression and removed some doubts.

Part II

  • Getting all relevant information: failure.
  • Lacking information: about pretty much everything.
  • What went well? Decent explanation about the fundamentals of linear regression.
  • What I would do differently? It is very important understand the research question. What is the experimental thesis, what are they measuring, how are they measuring it? Ask at the very beginning, before any "technical" issues come up.
