Outbreaks in Oregon Long-Term-Care Facilities

This Data.gov dataset covers over 1600 disease outbreaks in long-term care facilities in Oregon between 3/21/2002 and 9/13/2017.

  • Records with no recorded date were excluded
  • Similar disease types were combined (e.g. norovirus, norovirus I, and norovirus II –> norovirus)
  • Outbreaks of multiple diseases were separated into single occurrences of each disease type for the same dates

Thousands of open-source data can be obtained from http://www.data.gov. Datasets are continually added, deleted, or updated to this website. This dataset is no longer on this website.
