An Introduction to Me
Hello! My name is Xinyu Cong and I am a part-time master student in Information System (MS-IS). I have a full time job at UC medical school for 2 years. My interst is in data analysis and this is the reason I join MS-IS program.
Academic Background
- B.E. in Bioengineering (Huazhong Agricultural University, Hubei, China)

Professional Background
Basically, I have been dealing with biological experiments for 5 years in laboratories. I am working on bacteria and virus to understand their properties and figure out how to prevent infections. Processing a lot of data from experiments makes me realize that data analysis attracts me incredibly.
Experience with R
Since I just started my new carrer as a MS-IS student, all my experience with R are from courses requirements and online courses offered by Johns Hopkins University on Coursera.
