I am student in the MSIS program at Carl H. Lindner College of Business at University of Cincinnati. Before joining UC, I was working in Tata Consultancy Services as a ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert. I am passionate about building automation solutions to bring maturity in IT infrastructure operations.
I started my career as Java developer but my interest in cloud applications motivated me to move to the IT infrastruture services division in TCS and I joined the ServiceNow (cloud-based IT Service Management platform) team. As ServiceNow requires good knowledge of Java, the transition was quite smooth for me and soon I became a member of TCS ServiceNow Practice Team. After working as ServiceNow implementation specialist for 3 years, I got the chance to move to one of our client’s location in Frankfurt, Germany as a ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert.
During my last project in TCS I got introduced to Data Analytics tools while working on ServiceNow Performance Analytics. My first introduction to R was during fall semester in UC when I took Data Analysis Methods(IS7038) course. The course was really interesting and helped me to understand various statistical analysis methods and their implementation in R. As programming has always been my area of interest, R provided me with a platform to combine my data analysis and programming skills. I am currently enrolled in Intelligent Data Anlaysis course as part of my Data Science certificate and so far I have trained decision trees and support vector machines using R for my class projects
