What is expected change in the Profit at a store, if the Manager’s tenure i.e. number of months of experience with Store24, increases by one month? $760.993
What is expected change in the Profit at a store, if the Crew’s tenure i.e. number of months of experience with Store24, increases by one month? $944.978
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
From the linear regression model obtained it can be concluded that the model is near perfect as the p value of F-STATISTIC is significantly low. Moreover the fit of the model is very close to actual data set as R-Squared is also very low.
The tenure of manager and crew largely affect the profit of the company. In terms of overall impact, a crew member’s tenure is supposed to have greater impact than a manager’s tenure.Plans shall be made as to retain maximum number of store employees to maximise the profits.
A few measures that can be taken so as to retain employees are:-
1.Giving them constant incentives. 2.Giving them training for their jobs. 3.Constantly taking feedback from employees and creating a employee satisfaction index. 4.Giving them other perks like free lunch, extended medical leave etc.
There are other factors like competitors, pedesstrian count, population etc which also affect the sales of the company, but these are location factors and the company cannot do much to change them as they are pretty much constant. The number of competitors in its Vicinity, has a great negative impact on the profit garnered from a store. Visibility does not have any significant impact on the profit of the store. So the comapny shall focus in building a strong loyal employee base who stay with them for longer tenures.
