Statistical Rethinking: A Bayesian Course with Examples in R and Stan

A joint effort of Paris Lodron University of Salzburg and the City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.

Course will be taught by developing instructors with a focus on using the R language.

Our meetings are open to all (see details below) and our materials are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public License.

Getting Started

Visit GitHub and read the Getting Started section.

You will want to:

  1. Obtain the book
  2. Join the Google Group
  3. Subscribe to the calendar
  4. Get R and RStudio set up
  5. Clone the GitHub repository

Contributing

  • Active participation encouraged
  • Just add yourself to the schedule
  • Read the chapter in the book
  • Prepare a summary presentation
  • Complete the chapter's exercises
  • And present at the weekly meeting

Presentations

  • All presentations should be authored in the .Rpres format
  • Templates for every week are available on GitHub, just edit
  • Make sure to add your GitHub username and the presentation date
