One thing I was a little fuzzy on before class today was coding in R and the basic things we are able to do with it. I had used R in STAT 314 but most of it was self taught and we never got a ton of instruction. I really enjoyed using it though so I am glad we are going to be using it in this class. I was also fuzzy on confidence intervals so I am glad we reviewed those. We can use confidence intervals to estimate what the true mean of a data set is. For example, we could create an interval that we are 95% sure the mean falls within. Reviewing today definitely helped to jog a few things and I think watching the videos Dr. Knudson posted will help even more.
