The slide is for the second half of week 4 assignment of Developing Data Products course from Coursera (https://www.coursera.org/learn/data-products/)
The objective is to show the design rationale of the first half (a Shiny application) running at: https://rldatashow.shinyapps.io/tour_in_beijing/
The Presentation is generated in Rpresentation in Rstudio.
The Forbidden City, The Summer Palace and The Heaven Temple are three Must-to-Go in Beijing;
A interactive map was produced to highlight the geographic position of three historical legacies;
For the time being, this application is very brief and preliminary.
Forbidden_City <- c(lng=116.3905, lat=39.91599)
Summer_Palace <- c(lng = 116.2689, lat = 39.9975)
Heaven_Temple <- c(lng = 116.4065, lat = 39.88224)
dataTour <- t(data.frame(Forbidden_City, Summer_Palace, Heaven_Temple))
dataTour <- data.frame(dataTour, place = rownames(dataTour))
you can select one of the three places;
the map with the pointer of the place will be displayed;
Also, the longitude and lattitude of the place will be displayed.
