The Research Data Management project began on the 1 April 2017. Cloud.UNE account activations have increased from one every 1.91 days prior to the RDM project commencing, to one every 0.5 days.
According to the last user report, the proportion of all academics using Cloud.UNE is 52.36 per cent (288 accounts). By comparison, 23.46 per cent of postgraduate researchers are using Cloud.UNE (156 accounts).1
The current breakdown of account type numbers is depicted below.
In terms of storage usage, below is the current difference between account types.
Of the 457 Cloud.UNE accounts that have been activated since the RDM project began, academic researchers and postgraduate researchers represent 201 (43.98%) and 137 (29.98%) accounts, respectively.
In total, 659632.7 Kb were uploaded to Cloud.UNE in the previous month. This equates to an average of 1024.27 Kb uploaded per user.

Throughout 2017, the RDM project has been running Information Sessions across the Schools. These sessions provide information on regulations, the UNE policy and procedures, Cloud.UNE and news services in the Library. So far 7 out of 10 Schools have been covered.
Above is an indication per School of the number of Cloud.UNE accounts activated before and after the School information session (the dotted line indicates the day of the information session, in this case, Day 0). The user information is merged with school affiliation data produced from RME.
Since August, the RDM project has been running week-long classes in the last week of each month for researchers to learn how to most effectively use Cloud.UNE. The graphs below show the aggregated weekly activity of participants in uploads around the time of the class they attended.
The percentages are calculated on 550 academics and 665 postgraduate students. Both numbers are estimations of each population at UNE.↩
