About Me!

Hello! I am Srikanth Popuri, a graduate student in the Business Analytics program at Carl H. Lindner College of Business, University of Cincinnati. I am here to gain some knowledge in Statistics and Management, so that I can improve my understanding of Analytics. I like reading novels, playing chess and snooker, watching TV-series (mostly sci-fi and thriller).

Academic Background

Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology,Surat in India.

Professional Background

Currently, I am working part-time as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, Simulation Center (P&G). My work includes building and validating simulation models and automation.

Prior to this, I have almost 3 years of work experience as a Senior Business Analyst at EXL Services(Inductis) in Decision Analytics. Over my tenure, I have worked on various projects ranging from Reporting to Dashboarding to Statistical Modeling.

Experience with R

I have been programming in R for nearly 2 years now. I started using R when i joined EXL Services as a Business analyst. I have used R for the following purposes:
