Based on Dec 2017 numbers, estimated current value was $53370. Note that Original Capital investment is about $43800. From 13 Jan 2018 diagram, under Cash section, there is a $10,013, while Equities section shows $44,477.

Cash section is what we take out PROFITs. Equities section shows it is still more than $43800 which means original capital investment remains.

There is no need for insurance ILP or endowments where premiums are paid without returns for x years, before cash flow starts coming in.
