Something About Me.

I am Sylvia Gong. Currently I studies M.S. in Business Analytics at Wake Forest University. My hometown is Suzhou China, a water town outside Shanghai.

Academic Background

• B.A in Accounting( Nanjing Audit University, Nanjing, China)
• M.S in Business Analytics( Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC)

Professional Background

I just graduated from Nanjing Audit University. I onced worked as an intern in the central management department of Common Wealth Bank of Australia. My responsibilities there includes:

• Updating and maintaining credit database

• Weekly preparing product-related reporting

• Research project coordination and data analysis

Other working experience are in accounting and finance department. Seems like I need to pivot a little in the future. But I have some limited programming experiences of SQL and self-learned some basic python syntax on Coursera. Looking forward to get some hands-on experience with R programming this summer.
