I am 1Lt Stephanie Boone. I am a USAF 61A (Operations Research Analyst). I am married to C-17 pilot who is currently stationed at McGuire AFB, NJ, so we are hoping to get a join-spouse assignment when I graduate. We have been married for 3.5 years and have 1 furbaby; a golden retriever named Summit. Since we are doing the distance thing, my hobbies really just include hanging out with the amazing friends I have met at this program, going to my local running group, and weight-lifting!
I received my B.S. in Math from the University of TN (Go Vols!) and currently working toward my M.S. in OR here at AFIT. I received the AFIT T&E certificate via distance learning while at my first assignment at AMC Test and Evaluation Squadron. I was the only analyst in the squadron and on the base. It was a great experience with a lot of responsibility being the sole source to design operational tests and analyze the data. This assignment is my first experience with R, but I’m beginning to realize how powerful of a tool it is. However, I am proficient in Matlab.
My co-advisors are Col Geyer and Dr. Hill.
