This presentation is based on the study conducted by the hungarian NetCoGame GamefulLiving Research Center in the topic of motivational factors in video games. The analized sample contains 12.841 records from the year 2016. By using principal component analysis and factor analysis three major factor were revealed:
- Exploration
- Socialization
- Achievement
The following boxplot contains information about the factors in the hungarian sample.The assessment was based on a 4 step Likert scale, where higher numbers means stronger motivational force.
