Unit Distance Converter is a shiny application able to convert between 3 distance measure systems:

• Metric
• Imperial (miles)
• Nautical

The application is available at shinyapps.io https://cgodinho.shinyapps.io/unitdistanceconverter/

The code is available at github in https://github.com/CGodinho/UnitDistanceConverter/

To execute the application:

1. Use shinyapps.io link to https://cgodinho.shinyapps.io/unitdistanceconverter/

2. Select input and output units in the combo boxes 2 and 3

3. Add the input value to be converted in input box 4

4. The resulting value is presented in main window 5

5. For rounding the result value, select check box 6

NOTE: Check next slide.

Try different values and guess what are the convertion formulas used!

Really never understood why there isn't a single distance unit system used worldwide …
