Prediction of Weight

Goals

  • This app is an effort to learn the “Shiny”(web framework for R).
  • The dataset (Mammals) I used for prediction is the stored dataset in R library(MASS)
  • The simple application allows user to predict the weight of brain given the body weight and name of Mammal.
  • The goal is to learn how to develop and deploy the shiny app.

The Data

  • MAMMALS - is data frame with average brain and body weights for 62 species of land mammals.
  • Source- Weisberg, S. (1985) Applied Linear Regression. 2nd edition. Wiley, pp. 144–5.
