With the geographical area of 1, 55,707 sq. km rank as the 9th largest State in the country. With 30 districts and 58 sub- division, Odisha provides 60% employment from the agriculture sector.

Odisha districts are very different to each other in some of districts more urban population lives whereas in some district no urban population at all. Sex-Ration and percentage mix of gender in worker is good but need more imporovement in literacy.
Khandhamal, Puri, Balangir, Cuttak, Baleshwar, Malkangiri and some more district grow well in past some year as per the analysis of CSO and Census various other Open Data.
