The goal of this project is to illustrate some possibilities of the plotly library.

The data have been compiled from the annual reports edited by the Paris tourist office between 2010 and 2015 (http://presse.parisinfo.com/etudes-et-chiffres/chiffres-cles).

Here we draw the number of vistors for each monument across the time.

The reason why the line is flat for the 'Basilique du sacre Coeur' is that the nuber of visitors is an estimation from 2010 to 2014. No precise number is available for this monument.

The boxplots show very different quantiles for the monuments. The monument having the largest dispersion is 'Museum of Louvre', and the smallest is for Triumph Arch. The Basilique du Sacre Coeur is a particuar case because of the unprecise figures : the number of visitors has been estimated from 2010 to 2014 and not updated, so there is an outlier.
