The project

The idea of the project is to provide a tool that can be used for predicting the eruption duration of the Old Faithful geyser in the USA Yellowstone National Park based on the time waited to that eruption.

The basis for the predictor is the R “faithful” dataset.

Features and Functions

• There is a plot showing all available data points and a simple regression line
• Input:
  • Slider to choose the waiting time
• Output:
  • Plot showing the predicted duration time
  • Text output showing the predicted duration time
