My app illustrates variations in children's weight by gender, age and height. You can try it out here.
It plots the data and fits a linear regression with weight as the dependent variable

The data comes from the kid.weights data set in the UsingR package.
UsingR authors took a sample fromt the NHANES III Survey http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nhanes.htm
