Austin_disc <- read.csv("City Of Austin Disconnects.csv")
This data set shows the number of utility cut-offs by City of Austin due to non-payment over a 15-year span. The data set is interesting for two reasons. First, it shows very high cuttof rates in the years following the great financial panic of 2008. We can see that although the destruction of large financial enterprises was narrowly prevented through huge cash giveaways during this period. Utility payers as a group were showing less abilitly or inclination to pay their utility bills. The second reason the data are interesting is that it shows a huge reduction in cutoffs starting in 2011. Did the economy improve, did City of Austin develop programs to successfully produce lower rates of non-payment? Inquiring minds would like to know. And what about famous Austin celebrity Lyle Lovett? Was he able to pay his bills? And what the hell Lyle, aren’t we do a new album about now?

One statistic (not that interesting) is the average annual number of cuttoffs over the years.
