Predict MPG of your car

This presentation is a guideline on How to use “Predcit MPG” app created using shiny application in R.

OBJECTIVE:

This app’s objective is to predict MPG (miles per gallon) of your car from engine displacement and engine Horse Power that user provides using a slide bar.

How to use the App:

• using a slidebar, select the “Engine Displacement” of your car.
• using a slidebar, select the “Engine Horse Power” of your car.
• Press “Submit” button.

RESULT: Predcited MPG of your car is displayed on bottom right side of the main panel.

• from above 3D scatter plot of MPG, HP and displacement it is very clear that MPG has an Inverse relationship with Horse Power and Engine Displacement.

• meaning, Higher the Horse Power, lower the MPG and vice versa.

• and, Higher the engine Displacement, lower the MPG and vice versa.
